People bungee jump from bridges. You free fall when bungeeing, similar to skydiving. But in that instance the bungee cord is like your parachute. When you get to the bottom of your jump, the bungee cord whips you back up.

So you were thinking he wanted to clue directly for parachute but couldn’t because he couldn’t clue skydive, so he clued bungee which parachute works well for because he couldn’t clue skydive….but you don’t want to guess parachute, you want to guess skyscraper.
