I think the strategy is to deprive the false/weak left of a claim to shelter for the proletariat. Where to go from there I'm not sure gets much attention except to assume that the right is too ldo wrong so may as well go hard left (socialist) or at least stay out of the way.
I'm not sure history favors the approach, but who knows what actually caused what, whether who was true when, etc.
For me, fwiw, the marxist critique itself is usually valid, even if the what-then ranges from fanciful to abhorrent.
It's undoubtedly tiresome for the dyed-in-the-wool to have to revisit the same retorts over and over when most of the time the disconnects are primarily paradogmatic [sic], so a little bit of grace is necessary for the sake of education.

the problem with the Democrats is that there is rarely anything exciting about "yeah, I mean let's just be basically decent and try to help each other a bit" as a message, so most people who, if they had to choose, would prefer them just don't bother unless they feel like they do have to choose (eg, Biden)
it doesn't help that they (outwardly, at least) generally have zero vision for or understanding of foreign policy

When I still listened to podcasts I listened to that gaps one and what happens is all the other survey courses go from St Augustine right to I don't know duns scotus? Medieval philosophy. No gaps covers all the Islamic philosophy, ibn sina (avicenna) and all that. It's a rich tapestry.

So what happened is, these two used to date when they were both men. Then they broke up with much animosity.
Then ContraPoints transitioned and her videos took on a much more elaborate production style.
Right after this, like right after, PhilosophyTube, who had never even been interested in transitioning before, also became a girl and changed her whole production approach to match Natalie's.
ContraPoints is generally considered problematic by all groups but PhilosophyTube is a very scary person.
