Like yea they're likely guessing Ball but maybe not and ending our turn that way isn't great for us

I feel nich would want us to sus out that's theirs and continue sharpshooting our own stuff

I kinda wanna find out about Genie, there's several reasons why Ball may be wrong

Ball could also be right but let's say Genie is neutral - Red's turn is way more complicated and I like keeping the game difficult for other team

but what if genie is red. that's the problem

i'd guess genie 10/10 times if you can guarantee it's ours/neutral 😆

i almost always hate guessing the next word (presumably) on the other team's list, but i don't think it matters that much in this situation

and nich would ideally not clue for that word as well, but sometimes you have no other choice as a spymaster

seems like the clue would be the same for both of these combos. gonna stick with ball as my vote

The other option we have is just to pass here.

Keeps the mystery of ball without the risk of genie.

Gives us less information though...

I feel we need to guess something cause we probably only get 1 more turn after this and need to make progress...tho if we think they can't get 5 in 2 turns passing would have some merit

I agree with telescope and spider. The arachnid connection is enough for me and that’s a brutal combo.

I’m not sure I understand spider for Queen and I’m even less sure that D1iab would give a 2-clue on his 2nd turn that repeats a word already clued.

I’d probably go with something like contract, which connects to the band definition of the clue.
