I guess nasa would have a board of directors or whatever, so that increases its equity some imo.

You would have to go in a completely different direction. You can't risk whiffing on 2 words that are so easily connected, and that very easily could've happened.

Not saying it's easy, but you would at least try "science" or something along those lines. Nasa to kid is at least a 3 step connection.

I wouldn't worry about this so much since it's more of we either finish this turn or don't. And whiffing on a couple words is whatever if we'd have to finish next turn anyway

And yea Neil, Mercury is generally a super PITA word to clue for. Sometimes people do it through the queen connection but generally you have to do some kinda space thing

You have temperature, metal, elements, liquid, space, science, cars, gods/mythology, Rome/italy, sky, nature, astrology, etc

Lots of ways to link it to stuff

Why board, just cause of the spaceship? I like it a little in terms of chalkboard/this makes me think of school and education

Boarding a spaceship/board of directors. I don't really like it to be fair, I just hate it less than everything else, and I think it's the least likely word to be overlooked.
