I don’t think cold is a stretch. There are multiple emojis symbolizing cold, like the frozen face, snowflake, etc.

Circle seems really generic, but I guess the face emojis are round, so maybe.

I figured we’d end up going unicorn/pass/cold, but then circle came up out of nowhere. Which is fine, I just wanted to understand. I have no idea what it could be. But one of those three seems right.

Well let me try to explain better then.

The emoji characters set has a lot of simple symbols like heart, like checkbox. Circle is one of them. There's also an X (think tic tac toe).

I like circle because it's simple like heart and checkbox.

And the comment that made no sense to you, was me trying to get int the cluemaster's head. Hypothetically, he could see:

circle

heart

And see three symbols. then realize he can go emoji to bring face into the list. It's a pathway to get to that specific clue that makes sense to me.

But what I feel like is, if we're going to get this clue, he had to have a specific word in mind. And again, Nich knows there are emojis for all of these things. He'd have to have SOME rationale for why we pick say, circle over unicorn or ring over saturn.

So is unicorn the most emoji-like of the options? Because it's fanciful and weird?

I don’t know that unicorn is the most emoji-like, you’re who brought it up. I just don’t have any ideas other than cold, which you don’t seem to like.

I agree that it's a good look for church, but what does it mean for Aztec? Stay away because it's not an aztec god or go for it because they also had Gods?
