A lot can connect to sleep but if this isn't exactly Night/Hotel I don't get this clue at all.

Feel like we would get an unlimited if both Bar/Port are correct. But I don't know what else to have as dive backups. Plus it's possible that something like Cover is bad and he can't do second-tier sleep words with an unknown number.

I think spy is a distant possibility, as in sleeper agent, but it would be a big miss on his part if it weren't night & hotel

I don't see it hitting alien/comic/spy so we can guess those 3

we only needed 2 more for borders tho so normal clues would have had us make up alien next turn and then comic the next turn, so not sure why the 0 clue here?

I don’t think you’re missing anything. I think he just wanted to clear port/track so there’s no chance of them being in the way next turn.
