Seems like a weird spot for a one clue, but I assume this is fan.
Yeah with Bridge as a backup.
The guy drives his car off a bridge in that movie with his girlfriend in the trunk.
Who knows why the 1. All will likely become clear soon.

Okay I'm confused now.
Does this mean all three of our remaining words are wrong and we need new ones?
yeah, most likely all 3 suck or he'd try to remove 2, but this is different since he's limited in how to remove 2 but not the 3rd
but we assume mole/superhero/bridge are out for now
we need to figure out another Indy word that's possible because we have to make a guess
maybe mount if there was a mountain or horseback riding? or spot? i dunno
bump
we have to guess something, can't just pass
I say mount and leave a list of course
mount
pass

spot

disease is thinking maybe the skull causes disease/illness? I'm not sure about that, but seems familiar

Chemistry for Dummies - 2
Copper and Mole most likely.
Microscope/Paste/Honey/Disease all not impossible, but I'd say all of them are objectively worse than those two.
I thought Microscope and copper
I get the mole reference but I think it's more obscure
I'm fine with microscope as a backup, but mole is so much better for this.
It's a really basic chemistry concept.
I would bet my salary that there is more discussion in "Chemistry for Dummies" on the mole than on microscopes. Hell, microscope might not even appear in the entire book. Why would it?
I'm fine to go with you, I agree with the fact that it's a better chemistry word, but Microscope is a "dummies" sort of word for science, with copper being the more chemistry related word.
