Nice job, guys. I hated giving up Spot to the blues, but hated not clueing Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull for the third time more.

I went with unlimited instead of a 3-clue so it’d be abundantly clear our final turn that bank and pants were good. Great work!

Bah. I was so sure you'd have Copper third on the list for chemistry that I felt safe with it. Dragon was a miss on my part, though I may have gone with that clue anyway to get both mole & microscope.

It's literally a chemical element. 100% of the time picking that first.

Beijing/Paste is a pretty ugly combo to end on. Never seen The Last Emperor, what's the paste connection?

You're obviously correct, it's just not what I think when I think chemistry,

I wasn't going for paste, I wanted to get Beijing and have you go down the list, and then try to get another shot at it. I've also never seen the movie, but wanted something that was obviously Beijing, that didn't hit any blockers. I was only halfway there

Die Hard - 6

Yipee ki-ya, mother****er.

Bank - I don't remember them specifying what type of corporation Nakatomi was, but pretty sure it wasn't a bank; not going with Die Hard with a Vengeance sort of clues away from bank, since Simon and his crew rob the Federal Reserve
Bat - no recalling a bat used as a weapon
Bear - Hans and his crew are there to steal bearer bonds (not sure if this would be a legal guess)
Capital - Hans and his crew are there to steal bearer bonds
Court - John and Holly are on the outs, but I don't think she'd filed for divorce yet, and I don't remember any courtroom scenes
Fan - Argyle acts like a super fan of John, but meh
Gas - I don't think they use gas to knock anyone out; the explosive John sends down the elevator shaft doesn't use gas, pretty sure it's c4
Germany - Hans Gruber is German, as are many of his crew
Jupiter - no
Lawyer - I don't think so
Mass - the incident is a mass kidnapping/hostage taking; there are massive explosions
Mug - I'm sure there's a mug shown at some point either on a desk or at the Christmas party
Nut - same as mug, I'm sure there's a bowl of nuts at the party or something
Olive - same as nut and mug, but a little closer because there was alcohol at the party so maybe martinis
Pie - same as above, possible but not my fav
Pistol - lots of firearms in this film; John tapes a pistol to his back and draws it after pretending to surrender
Plastic - is c4 a plastic explosive? Might work
Post - not sure
Rabbit - there's a teddy bear in Die Hard, but not a rabbit; the stuffed bunny is Con Air, obv
Robin - I don't remember anyone named Robin
Roulette - did they have any table games at the Christmas party? I can't recall
Server - servers passing hors d'oeuvres; the computer hacker bad guy probably breaks into the company server or something
Shoe - "Shoot the glass"
Skyscraper - Nakatomi Plaza
Triangle - no love triangle or anything; maybe the top of the tower is triangular?

Something else, probably leaning plastic right now but certainly open to discussion - already starting to lean more toward mass

The top five are prettyyyy prettyyyyyy prettyyyyyyyyyy pretty good.

They were definitely not divorced.

Oh haha, I remembered the teddy bear when I got to rabbit, but didn’t connect it when talking about bear. Yeah, definitely in the six.

I can’t imagine guessing Germany lower than third, what with it literally being about a band of German thieves.

I’m fine with capital/bear being swapped, but would have a tough time being convinced to put either of those above any in the top four.

I knew they weren’t divorced, but she was going by her maiden name at work, so I couldn’t remember if she’d filed or talked about filing.

Bear works for teddy bear and bearer bonds. It's actually so good for this.

I imagine it's a call in show whixh I might be wrong about

SportsCenter is not a call-in show. It's a daily highlights/wrap up show. Back before the internet, you'd watch it to find out all the scores, etc. That's why I put fan third, since it doesn't engage with the people.

Caveat: I haven't watched SC in at least 15 years, and only the Canadian version, but I think all the above is accurate.

A note: I'm going on vacation tomorrow evening, gone for about 2 weeks. I'll get on here as much as I can to keep games moving, but expect delays.
