3v3 Codenames

Say more about trunk. I’m not getting the connection for some reason. I was thinking slug in the top five, lots of punches thrown in those films.

I also like shot over knife, but I’m fine with whatever order for the top three tbh.

I am a little hesitant about Hollywood, so happy for that to be #5. It’s hard to clue Kill Bill without clueing every film-related word on the board, which we’re almost never lucky enough to get.

Trunk => That's where you put a dead body in a movie

I guess the question is how much the clue is Kill as in Kill Bill, or Kill as in dead, capitalized to pick up the movie. I was thinking that using it to go for movie words is a bit second order cluing, and that makes me nervous compared to the direct killing words. I think Slug as in another word for a bullet is pretty much on a level with hollywood - I might put it ahead, because of the punch connection, too

I'm with your top 4

Hollywood is kinda interesting here. It's next on their list, but I could also see them getting away from it...if I thought that they would def resolve that word I'd say no to guessing it for sure.

My thought is to wait one round to see if they resolve it. If we resolve it for them, we could be screwed. Because if we do, Nich is now potentially able to give an n-1 clue that ends the game. Not as easy with two makeup words left. I'd like to hear your thoughts rather than just bolding in your next post (always a chance one of those top 4 are wrong), but my first thought was:

I don't like beach at all, tbh. I'd put Hotel at least before beach, and don't particularly like it either.

Also, if you really want to YOLO on Hollywood, I could be convinced. It could possibly win us the game if it is ours. And only *possibly* lose it for us if not, as well. We certainly wouldn't auto lose here

Not sure what to do next. Not loving the idea of guessing Hollywood for them. Maybe we just pass and keep our list (Hollywood, trunk, chick)? Anything new sticking out to you for Kill?

If we were going to guess another word for Kill, I'd lean towards skipping hollywood for Trunk. I think, though, we have enough cushion that we don't guess it now
