SIDES - Inaugural Game Thread
In this thread, we will play a new word game called Sides. It's somewhat similar to codenames, but cooperative and diff
He also didn't know what a currant was. People have blindspots.
But fine, whatever.
I'm not sure I know k6? There are a couple it could be that are very shadowfaxy that I wouldn't really want to clue tho.
Does anybody know n8? I feel like it's pretty lockish and not a shadowfax.
no but if it's gas should be able to think of it...k6 isn't rocket shadowfaxy it's...idk lol...bolt seemed to know
I think I know what K6 is, no clue on N8
Only other clues I can think of are C9 and Q4 (already mentioned) and R6
I don’t know the n or k, but as long as everyone feels confident that they’ll either nail the target on their own or help Nich and DZ figure out c9, I’m good with whatever.
If they’re shadowfaxes that risk a complete whiff, then we should start with an a-word (my vote is a7) to open up the c card.
K6 is my vote.
Someone do something
kakuro
Didnβt we already have sudoku?
No numbers n7 or anything
C9 is crossword so prolly just puzzle
n8 nonogram may be my favorite type
r6 riddle mentioned
missed r5 rebus, another favorite
a7 anagram no a8 acrostic
I've never heard of this word
So yh happy to go with yours
Itβs sudoku with numbers
That doesnβt help
Itβs sudoku but you have to have the numbers in each section add up to a specific sum rather than use each number once
puzzle
Yes, nice job
Woo nice job!
Don't know how popular these are, I used to do them all the time when flying to places
I would guess at least 95% of the population would have no idea wtf that is.
I am grateful I wasn’t guessing that round, that’s for sure
I have high confidence in someone's knowledge of fun facts when they've demonstrated supreme trivia abilities knowing things like "Gandalf's horse is named Shadowfax"
Everyone knows random bits of knowledge that most people don't. That doesn't mean they will just automatically know everything.
Also not sure how you could deduce that was a puzzle without knowing it just by reading the word lol.
Yeah, that was it. Still shadowfax potential, but more well-known and they are used a fair bit in video games. Plus I think that is something that you could maybe deduce just by reading it.
yea maybe it was on the lucky side lol, I thought good chance they'd know or say something like "oh that's something like sudoku"
I bet more people know what Shadowfax is than what kakuro is.
