SIDES - Inaugural Game Thread
In this thread, we will play a new word game called Sides. It's somewhat similar to codenames, but cooperative and diff
Round 7:
Cards used: 6
Guessers: zeus/ervin
The Board:
RG | JOVW | T | M | P | C | A
The target word:
Sent to d1iabol1cal, ibedrummin, pogcrazy94, bolt2112
obv j7 for domain if we come from left, but depending on clue and confirmers they may be able to deduce j7 and not need us to necessarily go left just to clue it
there is g4, c5, a6 and many more we can discuss but seems like a banger lurks out there
There’s an r7 that is about as shadowfaxy as you can get. Guaranteed ace if known, guaranteed whiff with zero positive momentum if unknown.
I think a6 gets it. They know that j7 isn't the answer. What else could they guess?
yeah, a6 to the left of c5 gets it in 2 every time, but they likely deduce j7/c5 and get it in one
Actually, a6 is equally effective as a regular clue or as an opposite clue.
I feel like you guys might be talking about different a6's? There are 2 I can think of, with one being slightly better than the other imo.
Agreed, and the better one is the first one that was mentioned, more than slightly imo.
Yes mine is a6 c5 and much better than opposite other a6 as that gets something else first
My vote is you go with that a6
Gonna give pogcrazy a chance to chime in
I think I know what every clue is except A6 gonna feel like an idiot later lol
I don't have any bangers so go ahead and do A6
amulet
I'm listening to the audiobook 'Ready Player Two' which is obviously a sequel.
A horse named Shadowfax figures prominently into the chapter I'm currently on.
Oo fun one
Amulet
J7
And unique between those two
Amulet = jewellery with a jewel neither are j7 lol
A6 opposite too
Amulet is a good luck charm too - but doesn't seem relevant
first word that came to mind was medallion
g4 could be gold but doesn't seem like this would be bronze or something
need to think on what the c5 is
Bump
Hmm
What would the j be for medallion?
No j4 for jade
Idk why I didn't think c5 could be charm
Could be something like bracelet or necklace
We know it's jewelry
