Anyone (preferably who hasn't played in ages/ever and sucks at it like myself) fancy a game of Codenames?

That said, marine also works for marine life
If he wanted to be clearer he coulda done marines to avoid marine life

But with marine life being a thing we would need a strong marine connection to not go soldier octopus

Dryer - don’t see it

Roll - don’t see why marine for this

Let’s just go ahead and call it, that’s obviously correct (and the remaining two for channel I thought it was and was surprised neither had come up).
Agonizing over jam never should’ve take so long. If we thought it could be ours it didn’t matter if it ended up being theirs, because we’d either win or they’d get a 2-clue (or one if it was hood). We didn’t help their next turn by guessing jam, we just didn’t win.
Feel free to call the clock on us next time, that was ridiculous.

Would've been interesting if Jam wasn't guessed as only clue I could think of for jam/octopus/soldier was eggs but Mother was a blocker (and roll I suppose but eggs not egg)

You didn’t need to clue for jam/octopus/soldier because jam was next on your team’s list.

I cant imagine it being #1. If eb had confidence they’d struggle next turn, I think he would’ve clued us our stranded word this turn as an unlimited to clear the list and then fired park - 2 next turn if we got there.
