What’s Luis von Ahn known for again?
American man, born 1901-74, still alive, known for a particular profession in the entertainment industry but not a TV or movie actor or crew member, or any kind of visual artist.
Could be a comedian, musician/singer or a writer/journalist.

I am thinking that whatever this person does he is loosely linked to entertaining. Maybe like that hot dog eating champion, Joey Chestnut. Not an entertainer, per se, but if people were not somehow entertained by the concept of who can eat the most hot dogs then we would not know who he was.
Is eating hot dogs a profession?
Any reason it can't be a poker player?
Someone like Phil Hellmuth would make sense.
