NCAA Football 2023 Season Megathread
Figured I would get this thing started since a mod still hasn’t changed the title of the 2022 thread. Let’s just start o
Am I crazy for thinking Nebraska could be a fun dark horse next year?
They went 5-7 despite outgaining opponents 5.1 ypp to 4.6
Five of their losses were by 1 score (as is the nebraska way), four by 3 and 1 by 7
Dylan Raiola is coming in at QB, and Haarburg is at worst a good change of pace QB and at best can be a functional starter if Raiola needs time
4* Oregon RB Dante Dowdell is coming in at RB
former Wyoming stud Isaiah Neyor (via Texas) is coming in at WR
Basically nobody on the whole team excep
Fun dark horse as in, hey they might be good enough to get to a bowl, or maybe even 8-4 if everything breaks correctly? Ok, fine, sure. I'll buy that. But not going O8 wins under any circumstances.
The counterpoints are: You never want to depend on a true freshman QB and Haarburg was a well below average QB this season and unimpressive as a passer. It's great that they're getting a RB and WR in because they had literally nobody at either spot this year after a spate of RB injuries. The YPP thing looks good, but they played a B1G West schedule against the worst B1G in years.
Rhule is a good coach, but he might need another year+ before he's got a roster that can compete for even the back half of the top tier.
Official Prediction:
Washington's explosives are held in check as Michigan is comfortable sitting back and forcing Washington to complete 10+ play drives for touchdowns.
Michigan's physicality in the ground game overwhelms Washington. Michigan rushes for over 6 yards per carry and doesn't go away from it like Texas did.
Corum has 3 TD, Edwards and Mullings each add a TD.
Michigan wins 42-21.

Michigan 63 Washington 13
rooting for UW, ldo
but gut tells me
UM: 31
UW: 20
The power is going out tonight baby
Pointless prediction:
Washington by less than 3 or Michigan by more than 20
Good luck everyone!
America roots for you, Huskies
Let's go
Harbaugh has been to the "final four" what six times? Three in the pros and three straight now with Michigan. No titles yet. He kind of needs one on the resume.
I don't know anything about these teams, but for a sweat I bet first TD on
Rome Odunze
Corneliuis Johnson
Germie Bernard
Hmm, Vince said the same thing, "I'll be back." And it was after winning the Rose against Michigan, wasn't it? And he pulled it off against USC. J.J.'s turn??
Not a fan of the meatchicken uniform choice...
As soon as you look perfect on offense the next game not so much, I'm thinking, of the UW clinic last game.

Sweet defense.
