kinda of a home game for mexico in los angeles huh? though maybe the jamaicans will turn up as well ¯\_(ツ😉_/¯

Pretty much anywhere in the USA is a home game for Mexico. Since 2000, the USA has selected only Ohio for the WCQs vs. Mexico b/c it's one of the few places they're sure to have over half the crowd.

yeah thats what i meant, games in places like california and texas vs others where support might not be ~absolute. i assume they'll have like 95-99% of the crowd today

also just realized how many games in this tournament are exclusive to tsn+

Saturday, June 22, 2024 Ecuador vs. Venezuela 6pm TSN+
Sunday, June 23, 2024 Uruguay vs. Panama 9pm TSN+
Monday, June 24, 2024 Colombia vs. Paraguay 6pm TSN+
Wednesday, June 26, 2024 Ecuador vs. Jamaica 6pm TSN+
Thursday, June 27, 2024 Uruguay vs. Bolivia 9pm TSN+
Friday, June 28, 2024 Colombia vs. Costa Rica 6pm TSN+
Saturday, June 29, 2024 Argentina vs. Peru 8pm TSN+
Sunday, June 30, 2024 Jamaica vs. Venezuela 8pm TSN+
Monday, July 1, 2024 Bolivia vs. Panama 9pm TSN+
Tuesday, July 2, 2024 Costa Rica vs. Paraguay 9pm TSN+

#bellletstalk about how much they ****ing suck

I'd say, other than if they play USA/Canada, they'll have 80+% support in every match except maybe in Florida if they were to play like Colombia or Brazil, which have pretty sizable populations. Probably even vs. Canada b/c there aren't many northern USA cities hosting.

Hawaii?

Piled on Ecuador at evens

Ecuador red inside 20 minutes makes this interesting.

this game definitely feels like it has another red in it.

Blind betting the unders because it's hot and no one wants to run for Copa seems +ev

whoa, mexico has a black guy now? when did that happen?

edit:

On 3 September 2023, Mexico national team manager Jaime Lozano invited Quiñones to a training session. The player had previously shown interest in representing Mexico. On 11 October, Quiñones completed his naturalization process and became a Mexican citizen. On 9 November, he received his first call-up to the Mexico national team. Quiñones made his debut in a CONCACAF Nations League match against Honduras on 17 November.

ugly looking non-contact injury for alvarez ... that can't be good for business

lolmexico saved by var ... for now

Nochoa?

lolmexico saved by var ... for now

VAR would have mysteriously malfunctioned if mexico had scored that same goal

also lol cruizn where u at

need a radar gun on that arteaga hit, ball was absolutely flying

2nd half we've had:

- a four minute real time VAR review
- 8 substitutions
- a mexico goal

and only 3 minutes of 2nd half stoppage time. jfc. literally every soccer match nowadays is 10+ minutes of 2nd half stoppage time.

that cartel money still gets the job done in 2024.

yeah everyone got mad during that last world cup when they added the correct amount of stoppage time, so they went back to ~3 minutes no matter what. good times

tomorrow
