NCAA FOOTBALL 2024 MEGA THREAD - WELCOME TO THE PLAYOFF ERA
Just 8 days until Florida State plays Georgia Tech!
A lot happened while you were away:
Texas and Oklahoma joined the SEC
The Pac-12 went out in a blaze of glory:
Oregon, Washington, USC and UCLA are headed to the B1G
Utah, Arizona, Arizona State and Colorado are headed to the B12
Cal and Stanford along with SMU are somehow headed to the ACC
Poor old Wazzu and Oregon State are now aligned with the MWC in some sort of in-flux relationship
The conferences are huge now, and the schedules are wildly imbalanced. Florida might have the hardest schedule in the history of the sport, while Missouri's playing a sun-belt slate.
FSU and Clemson play each other, but then play ZERO common ACC opponents
Utah/Baylor and Arizona/Kansas State play non-conference games against conference opponents
LSU and USC play in Vegas!
Boise goes to Oregon, a team they've never lost to!
Texas at Michigan!
Alabama at Wisconsin!
Notre Dame at ATM!
Clemson vs Georgia!
And there are some incredibly juicy new conference matchups:
Texas @ ATM is back!
Texas vs Georgia
Oregon vs Ohio State
USC @ Michigan
USC vs Penn State
And then the bizarre:
UCLA @ Rutgers is now a conference game
Syracuse plays home and away against Cal and Stanford for some reason
Half the teams have new coaches, transferred quarterbacks, or both!
Let's get it on!
Cmon badgers
get ready for a website that is going to make your Saturday 1.7 billion times better
decided to build this after looking all over the place for a guide laid out like this. One gambling site had one a while back but they stopped producing it after a few weeks and it was an image so not interactive.
you can choose the date at the top, defaults to today when you load the page
Want to see all the games going on that are within 7 points and in the fourth quarter? Choose 4Q from the what menu and 7 on the width menu and you'll see those games.
the search will look for teams and mascots, so long or horn will show our game. Want to see what all the Texas teams are doing? Put tex in the search and you'll see when us, TxState, North Texas and Tech are playing and on what channel.
As games start the page will update with scores. You can go back to previous days to see what it looks like.
I get the data from ESPN's "hidden api's". Hopefully they don't go away but they do have some quirks with station names.
The different views:
TV chart view - works good on desktop, looks like a channel guide on your tv, still looks like ass on mobile, will make it look better on mobile this week
Boxes - list of all games in boxes, not grouped, good for mobile
Boxes by Time - boxes listed out and grouped by start time
Boxes by Channel - boxes listed out and grouped by channel
Stadium - view for when you are at the game and just want scores. Load the page before you get to the stadium. Click refresh and the scores are around 1k of data, should load super fast even on a **** connection
Things I'm thinking of adding:
betting lines. The data from espn has it for some games but not all
auto refresh scores
graphs of score and win probability
I'll add some ads at some point.
I was thinking of making a paid version for $20 for the season that would include the ability to:
pick favorite teams and allow views on main page and stadium for that
pick channels to ignore, like peacock if you don't have it
include ability to get text updates of scores when at the stadium
Is this something you'd pay for?
Any and all feedback is appreciated. Hope you enjoy using it.

Cool stuff. Subscribed.
Ryan Williams is so good.
FSU looking decent on defense, but the offense is absolutely brutal
there's no way the backup can be worse than this
Yeah, I’m shocked DJ still sucks. No one could have seen that coming.
5/6 for 7 yards and a pick is a hilarious line.
extremely boston college drive by boston college. 16 point underdog correctly goes for it on 4th and 3 from the 12 and throws for a TD. very nice
Texas Tech gonna put up 87 points today?
Fsu is just incompetent
FSU with 67 yards at halftime
woof
Memphis putting together their Pac 12 resume
FSU is about to go 3-9 after starting the year in the top 10. Hilarious.
Huge missed opportunity for LSU there
LFG Memphis!
It's gonna be hilarious when Michigan is still ranked on Monday
lol dju just stood there
Looool Lsu
I don't think South Carolina has a single pass completion for a first down in the entire second half.
where do the Noles go from here?
refs just straight up cheating against USCe
