I think it was TNF 4th and short a team (CIN?) ran out of shotgun and the man in motion took the snap and got the first down.

With the limited mobility of Goff it might make sense for DET, even with their sky high 70% conversion rate. At least make the defense play for the possibility.

1972 Mike Phipps threw 5 picks (was thinking it was 6, just looked it up) versus the undefeated Dolphins in the first round of the playoffs. And the Browns were ahead late in the 4th Q.
