I'm not typically someone who's all about the mental aspects but I could see playing in Toronto having a negative effect on him when the pressure gets ratcheted up. He's from there, his contract didn't exactly make him popular, and a large part of Leaf fans and media are insane. He looks like he cares a ton and every failure seems to make it harder on him. Refusal to shoot aside, this guy is one of the most fundamentally complete and creative players out there, but he's layed some stinkers in spring (as has Matthews tbf). It might all be variance and I don't think the Leafs will let him go, but it could be easier on him to sign elsewhere.

4 Nations seemed to be very successful. Interested to see how the NHL will stage a complete World Cup without IIHF involvement. I think it's short sighted to not share some profits since hockey is struggling in Europe and the World Championships finance a lot.

It's gonna be McKinnon and he's gonna score the game winner 😀

Well I knew they'd win! Just picked the wrong stud for the iconic Canadian moment. Although He did score too!

Man it's good to be the best.

The good news for USA is they're just a Hutson and Caufield away from winning going away.

Think in the Olympics Canada will bring Bedard. Owen Power might be ready too.

Wowza, does it seem long?

Vancouver Canucks General Manager Patrik Allvin announced today that the club has agreed to terms with goaltender Kevin Lankinen on a 5-year contract extension with a $4.5M AAV.

Demko has 1 year left. Don't think he's coming back. Lankinen at this price for next 5 years is quite reasonable imo, but not if they re-sign Bandaidko.
