I feel absolutely defrauded by the Stars for believing that they could extend this series based on their lineup. Get them out now, just call the game here and let us all move on with our lives. Just pathetic.

Yes Vegas would never get rid of a beloved franchise icon for nothing if they thought it would make their team better. (stares blankly in Marc Andre Fleury who was traded after winning the Vezina and Jennings in exchange for a former 5th round pick that they waived 2 months later)

well vgk had to get rid of a goalie and there was some opinion that MAF was blowing it in the playoffs so that's why they let him go.

they don't have to get rid of wild bill.

Game's back on!

Did that even go in?

Pulling Oettinger, is that Deboer's comment on Arniel. I think it's an error, but, I'm a loser.

****

Oettinger would have saved that.

McDavid getting 2 or more points in over half his playoff games is just absurd. Drai at 44% not too shabby either.

Congrats ?Lozen?

**** me game 1 not until wednesday

Oilers touched the Campbell bowl and therefore will win the cup, because they didn't touch it 2005 ans 2024 and lost.

The same power makes Hellebuyck a bad road goaltender, but only in the plsyoffs.

Just like Toronto and Edmonton solved their goalie and defensive problems by doing nothing.

We have a sad Cowboycold., but a happy lozen.

Of course go Oilers! πŸ˜€

Woo Hoo bring the cup to Canada

Pulling Oetinger baffles me

I had a family dinner last night. Glad I missed the game. Congrats Canadians! and Punker.

I dunno. It seemed like a crazy idea at the time, but it did seem to spark them. Not like Oettinger had been lights out anyways, and as Deboer said - it's been two straight years in the conference finals the Oilers lit him up.

Of course, I don't know where Dallas goes from here when your coach basically says "The Oilers own our #1 goalie and franchise cornerstone."

The Canes will take him off their hands.

if any team is looking for a new quality goalie, I believe Robin Lehner is now available to be signed.

There’s nothing new or quality about Robin Lehner.

Too good to not share.

Even better

I missed the best number, but I am on Oilboiz -130 to win the series. I think the Panthers are the better team, but I just think that McDraisaitl get their deserved rings, and McDavid ascends to Canadian God after ending the Canadian Cup Drought. 6 or 7 games.

Gretzky lost first Cup Finals
Won first cup the following year

Crosby lost first Cup Finals
Won first cup the following year

McDavid lost first Cup Finals
...

All against the same opponent and defending champs, no less.

They do if they want to afford Marner.

Sadly and embarrassingly, this is also part of my reasoning for taking the Oilboiz

mario/jagr won their 1st final. sakic/forsberg won their 1st final. the guys on those ****hawks, bumz and kangz teams all won their 1st final in 2010-12. ovenchicken won his 1st final. mackinnon and frands won their 1st final. probably lots of guys won their 1st final. probably lots of guys lost their first 2 finals. the loil might win, but yeah that's a pretty dum reason why

We’re talking about generational talents.

Lemieux might have been but for injuries and Gretzky. Crosby and McDavid are the best players of their generation.

But yeah, not a great reason and not the only reason.

I said what I said.

so the logic is that the best of the best* can't win in their 1st try, but lesser mortals can and do with ease? makes sense

* with some notable exceptions
