I've also seen "trade rumors" (i.e. from Maple Leafs dudes) that has William "Wild Bill" Karlsson going from VGK to the Maple Leafs for basically nothing. Wild Bill's production has dropped considerably since VGK's inaugural season....but I can't see VGK jettisoning him for basically nothing. He's still a fan favorite here and there are far more worthless players that should be jettisoned.

So painful watching us compete in games 4 and 5 knowing what could have been in games 1-3. Some changes will be made, but I still believe in the core + Rod. While we keep falling short, the potential is there. We just have to find a way to reach it. Sometimes it takes a long time to get over the hump. Staying patient sucks, but I believe.
Props to Florida. There is a reason this is their third straight finals. They are really ****ing good.

I’ll always hold Paul in high regard. It sucks to lose to him again, but I’m also happy for him. He’s a great coach.
His career is also a testament to the grind. 1 cup appearance in his first 24 seasons coaching. Now he’s going to his third straight to maybe go back to back.
The Panthers/Oilers should be a rematch worth watching.
Sucks Hyman is out. But at least Ekholm should be back.

Yes Vegas would never get rid of a beloved franchise icon for nothing if they thought it would make their team better. (stares blankly in Marc Andre Fleury who was traded after winning the Vezina and Jennings in exchange for a former 5th round pick that they waived 2 months later)
