2023 NFL Regular Season
As a niners fan I have spent this entire offseason in a silent rage
The last 20 years of being a niners fan has been an a
Pretty sure he would have gotten a ton of street cred over the Covid issue had he said "FU Roger not doing that ****!" instead of misleading everyone on purpose by claiming the immunized stuff.
That Strat didnβt help Djokovicβs pr too much, albeit I think heβs more disliked than Karen and also I do think he might have done some lying at one point
Why does anyone use QBR as some yardstick? Kaep still has the greatest game of all time according to QBR - 10/16 for 164 yards 1 TD, and 7 for 54 on the ground with 2 TDs. Truly the greatest QB performance we've ever seen. QBR has Minshew better than Tua this year
You've got to be joking.

itβs flawed but itβs the most well rounded available QB stat we have
Pff rating is the other one but a) a lot of people think they know better than pff and b) itβs hard to get all the rankings in one place without a subscription
DVOA?
I think QBR, Success, EPA/DB and the ol' school passer rating are a decent measuring stick.
Taking the top 5 (min 400 attempts) in each category, there's only 5 QBs that appear in at least 3 of the 4.
Brock
Dak
Tua
Lamar
Allen
Hard to argue those weren't the best QBs (regardless of the talent around them) this season.
Maybe Stroud could have been in there if he didn't miss those games.

Isn't Djokovic a hero in Europe's version of the alt-right movement? I'd think he improved his street cred on that side of the road. The other side never liked him anyway since he's some kind of ultra-nationalist.
I was not big on Love going into this year but I think it was a bad take, he seems decent+.
My posts, from the offseason thread in July:
If I had to pick six right now, I'd probably go:
New England
Arizona
Indianapolis
Las Vegas
Green Bay
Tampa Bay
I'd like to pick Carolina, Atlanta, Tennesse and Houston as well, but I think overloading the pick-six-to-miss prop with interdivision teams is not great. I think the AFCS and NFCS are the two widest-open divisions.
Okay, have to check the oddsmakers to see how bad I am. Odds to miss playoffs from b365:
NE -320
ARZ -2500
IND -500
LV -500
GB -230
TB -550
---
CAR -225
ATL -150
TEN -330
HOU -850
Other ones I overlooked are LAR (-330), WAS (-370) and DEN (-240).
So I'm live to get anywhere from four to six of my picks correct, depending on how today shakes out.
Was bang on that both South divisions were most gettable, but also thought 6 of those 8 teams were terrible. I guess it just speaks to how much parity exists this year.
Houston at -850 and LAR -330 already locked in is pretty wild. IND -500 (until last night), GB -230, TB -550 and god forbid ATL -150 all live to make.
Pick 6 is always tough, but it's also always hilarious when you look back at it in hindsight. Was so confident early season in CIN and LAC.
Live on Miami finishing 12-5
as much as i hate to say it,
i believe tua will miss at least 25% of the season due to lingering effects.
hard time convincing myself any season total prop bet with him involved could be anything but the under
Still live on the Bucs, but am ready to lol when they lose to Carolina
More than anything else this weekend (now that the Eagles are losing horribly), I want the Raiders to beat the Broncos.
Iβm finding myself rooting heavily for Payton to lose and lose heavily and consistently
the amount of time and effort spent pressing keys in defense of someone you never met
just saw your quote post newguy
happy to be proven wrong
hypothesis was based upon lingering injury effects
he didn't suffer from them
win win
We live in a world where Sam ****ing Darnold will be the most coveted qb in free agency
While I hope for heels’ sake it won’t be the panthers I would find it absolutely hilarious if it is
Boncos or raiders kinda seem like the best fit
Cousins and mayfield aren’t going anywhere
Niners aren’t keeping Darnold
yeah not great, bob ... cousins, tannyhill, baker, dobbs, minshew, flacco, browning (rfa), tyrod, siemian, stick, lock, rudolph, brissett, mariota, jameis
choose ur fighter
(draw again aka draft)
Cousins to the Broncos is a live possibility. Also, iirc Vikings can't franchise him
also, Gardner Minshew will be a far more attractive FA than Darnold. I'd also guess Tannehill and Flacco get more than Darnold.
And I'd also guess Jimmy G will get cut and be out there again
NFC West QB Power Rankings
1. Sam Darnold
2. Brock Purdy
3. Carson Wentz
4. Geno Smith
5. Matthew Stafford
6. The little guy on a $230 million contract
Wasn’t aware cousins can’t be franchised
Still maintain Darnold is the most attractive (lol) option of what remains
