Defensive Player of the Year: Ryan Kalkbrenner, C, Creighton
Freshman of the Year: Isaiah Collier, G, USC
Virginia should be banned from college basketball.
Kyle Filipowski might have gotten hurt during the fan court storming. I’m certainly no fan of dook, but I hate fans storming the court.
an IC post said he clothslined a fan and then faked being hurt to draw attention away from his malicious act. it's hard to tell what happened from the single far away footage that i've seen thus far
♥ Ryan finding his outside shot
This UK / Bama game is fire. UK defense looking a lot better with these rim protectors.
at the half
31.6125 possessions
UNC 0.822 ppp
UVA 0.506 ppp

Ryan is all we’ve got on offense so far.
It looks like the fan ran right in front of Filip and he gave the fan a shove. Looks like the fan could have made contact first in the leg area. Tough to tell. Don’t see a clothesline. And then other fans make contact with Filip afterwards. Regardless of who is at fault, the players are put in danger in that situation, and I hate it. Those fans were sprinting onto the court. It’s just not good for anyone.
I have a strong disdain for fan court stormings, since it’s happened a lot to the Heels over the years.
only view looks pretty clearly like someone seeing someone else running at you corner of your eye and you lift up to be defensive
probably will have to start expelling court stormers and or legal action
possibly action against the school and admin that allow it as well for creating unsafe environment
was confused why wake was favorite but looks like dook was missing a couple guys
lol in the overhead view the wake kid is definitely trying to yell in filips face and then gets kinda shoved trips and face plants
should probably just be memed to death
The @UVA losing streak ends at 8!
Heels in the driver’s seat for the ACC title and are basically locked into a top 2 seed, regardless.
54-44?
When does the 2nd half start?

how pissed would you be as a UK scrub not seeing the floor during the last two mins of this game?
If Flip is out for any time at all, Wake should get punished. Finally saw the video, complete bullshit players on good teams have to worry about this every away game and players on scrub teams don't have to dodge fans trying to hurt them.
what should Wake's punishment be exactly? and why should Flip's injury status have anything to do w a possible punishment?
Spoiler

Which of these teams do you think is the biggest final four threat?
UNC
Tennessee
Auburn
Alabama
Kentucky
Kansas
Marquette
Duke
Me after today: UK of course
Me inevitably after the game @Miss St coming up: Not UK of course
Whoever is on the right side of variance with matchups and shooting.
They all have solid pros and cons.
Still can't over the fact that Kentucky, of all teams, is #1 in 3pt shooting under Cal this year.
Surely he recruits shooters going forward after this type of team.
The SEC is basically the NBA this season with these scores. I am not going to do any arithmetic or research. But I am going to assume that the SEC leads all college basketball with teams scoring 100+ points in a game this season.

That's % but they're 214th in 3P attempt rate which should be a felony when you have
Sheppard 51.4% (!!!) / 4.0 3PA
Dillingham 45.2% / 4.4 3PA
Reeves 44.9% / 5.8 3PA
who can all put the ball on the deck as well. Can anyone with Kenpom tell us Kentucky WOWY numbers on the lineups? Those three with Onyenso / Z has to be insane death lineup territory but feels like he never runs it. Wagner (especially) and Bradshaw should be last resort foul trouble reserves.
