Rangers play Cubs tonight, off tomorrow, Cubs Saturday and Sunday. WTF is that about? I thought maybe the Sweet 16 games were next door, but nope, they’re in Dallas.
If the Rangers' Thursday Opening Day game was rained out, it can be immediately rescheduled for Friday. That guarantees people who bought Opening Day tickets actually get to attend Opening Day. (unless it rains again)
That's especially important for a World Series wining team.

Interested in following Jordan Montgomery this year. Word from the talking heads in DFW was that the baseball Anti-Christ Scott Boris was trying to get him a 5 to 6 year deal for ~30 million per. Obviously that didn't happen.
I love the guy. He pitched well down the stretch and in the playoffs. But for his career, he's just a guy. Not worth ace contracts. Glad y'all got him. He's definitely an asset.
Well, considering we had a literal bullpen game in the World Series, adding "just a guy" into the mix is ok by me. 2/50 max, I'm fine with. Not my money!
