English Premier League 2024-25
2024-2025 EPL Preview
Man City have set another record with 115 charges of financial shenanigans and also managed to win
I thought Zubimendi was a done deal - yet he started dilly-dallying around Madrid as I'm reading. Good news he did this last year to Plop and we all know what happened. IT'S HAPPENING LADS!
It appears M'BappΓ© is angry at Michael Oliver, because he didn't add sufficient extra time
I say to this: You are at the end of a large queue, mother****er
Gabriel signs a new contract - really good news
Big Ange gone.
Frank in?
I was hoping this wouldnβt happen because Iβm a tremendous fan of Frank as a coach and a man. Dammit.

I read that Zubimendi has been done for a long time but they are just waiting to announce in July for accounting purposes on Real Sociedadβs end.
I think the Frank deal will fall through when we find out brentford expect compensation and Frank demands money in exchange for his services. It is the ultimate spurs move here to waste a month on the manager and then have zero time for player recruitment.
Big up Big Ange. Should have lost them the final

I canβt really think of a scenario where this gets ugly or drawn out. Brentford are classy and easy to negotiate with (speaking from experience from the Raya transfer). Frank is a gentleman of the highest order but obviously will move to a bigger club at some point, which everyone knows. A compensation package for less than heβs actually worth to Brentford, a handshake and off he goes.
Summer transfer season is here and Iβm already dreaming of next season with Rodrygo on the wing. Iβll never learn to not get my hopes unrealistically up.
First trophy in 17 years and sack the manager. Cue a keystone cops style managerial chase where we end up with our 8th choice who lasts until november.
Spoiler
Lads, it’s Tottenham
looks like spurs gonna get thomas frank as manager. ugh that's a really good appointment.
What'll be a good first season for Frank, get out the UCL group stage and finish in top 7 for European footy?
League Cup/FA Cup only realistic chance of a trophy

Yeah I mean without us being bought by either a) an oil state or b) a firm that understands that quantitative analytics are a thing, we aren't going to challenge for the premier league title ever obviously lol
Given this year would bite your hand off for what you said, maybe a cup final too if we're really pushing it.
Year 2 though that's when we are winning the league. 2026-27 for sure.
The important thing is not to win silverware. All jokes aside Thomas Frank will be hard to hate again and I hate this trend of hiring likeable guys as Spurs managers. Please stop it immediately.
He would have got his backside kicked out the door - at least winning a trophy they walk him to the door and shake his hand and wish him good luck.
Think he was just smacked with injuries. I know it is not an excuse blabla, but MATE if half of your already mediocre squad is out - 1 of those consistently being the leader of the defensive unit, you are fecked. You saw how many injuries we have had this past season when we were going into the previous one with an even thinner squad, but sunran with injuries and finished on 90+ points.
Big Ange should have stayed to see if he is capable of doing this with a bit of investment and health rungood. Think this is what would have happened to Lego Pep was it not covid times
my view on frank is he was genuinely bad at brΓΈndby and brentford is run so well the coach doesnt really matter. basically half a baids theorem
I missed Tuchel getting owned live in 4K UHD. He better make it until next summer, i dont want to harp on this missed opportunity.
Andorra know where they stand again
Our new data-driven recruitment seems to have signed someone from Bulgaria who I believe is announced when someone gives a wrong answer on Shooting Stars

I donβt think heβs some tactical genius or something but Brentford would occasionally release video of his postgame talks and he just comes across as a really likable guy who I would bet his players absolutely love to play for.
But then again seeing some of the Instagram posts from Spurs players, it looks like Ange was a lot more popular than I would have thought for the amount of losses they had last season so maybe Iβm overthinking the importance.
Barca are circling around Rashford and Perisic... which year is this?
Gyokeres with all the drama will surely drive the price down.
Also who will take Grealish?
I believe Grealish is meant to be going to Italy. Can’t imagine he’ll do too well with the language but they have pizzas there (although he looks like a Hawaiian type and I believe they frown upon that kind of thing in Rome).
West Ham top football arrests table for third successive season
congrats hoopie for the treble!
