2024 NFL Game Thread - Week 17
Christmas Day
Kansas City Chiefs (-2.5) @ Pittsburgh Steelers
Baltimore Ravens (-5.5) @ Houston Texans
**NETFLIX ONLY** i
That they score significantly less points, and you need points to win games vs good teams? If the drives were sustained where are the points?
there's an XMAS gift
Terrible DPI and who says only the Chiefs get those calls.
That's a weak dpi
Texans smart playing for another safety here. It's their only chance to score
Let's try and not give up another safety
4th and Goal, and you decide to not throw it into the endzone.
Interesting...
big stop, you gamble you lose sukkkkkka
How do you not take a shot into the endzone, asking too much of Mixon there
This guy is more inaccurate than Lamar
Stroud slow to process

Why 1% higher cpt rate?
Why fewer pts per drive?
Sustained drives lead to fewer TOs, better field position, more FGs and more TDs than fewer sustained drives. And a rested defense with better field position to defend.
Are you saying that gaining 1st downs thru sustained drives are not as good as long throws for quick scores?
Bet they will kick here lol
wow that was lamarvelous
Lamar is so good
Andrews is so slow
Mark was running as fast as he can lol.
Wow, a mobile QB throws 10 air yards for a 60+ yard gain. Who would have thunk it.
Because that's what they've both done this season? Do you have some other data that shows different?

If it leads to more field goals with more touchdowns, why don't we see more field goals and more touchdowns? Long throws for quick scores are clearly better if sustained drives don't end in points

Future is never a carbon copy of the past. Look at Mahomes' stats this year and you would call him a bust.

Fields is not playing. If you want to repeat previous results then he wins 67% of the time.
Or we can't talk about wins because it is the single most important "stat"?
And a long time consuming drive to end a game is better than any quick long scoring play.
punt??????

So he should just throw Fields in and hope he's way better than he has been?
As I already said if you can guarantee that their opponents will score 10 then yeah, throw him in
