I don't quite get the Bucs/Commanders line. When I saw it I thought the Bucs must have been great at home this year. But actually they sucked. I realize the Bucs routed them months ago (Daniels first game) and they have one of the best triad of wins in the league probably, so they have no problem playing with the big boys. I'm probably, I'll say definitely underrating them. Power rating 7th in the league, about even with KC. Okay, I get it.
It looks like 12 of the top 60 rushers in the league this year were QBs. Seems like it's officially a trend. 😀
As to Lamar, he broke Vick's career QB rushing record late in the season, as predicted, and in what seems incredible to me, has more than half the rushing yardage of Jim Brown's glorious workhorse career. In less time, less games. It just seems sick.
When Harbaugh made the move to Jackson, to many of us it seemed a big mistake, setting aside a Super Bowl winning QB. He must have seen Lamar shredding the vaunted Ravens D in practice, realizing this is unguardable. We knew the playoff trouble would surface, but never suspected this kind of performance/efficiency. Anyway, is this the greatest season a QB ever had? Way better than his scintillating first MVP season.
