English Football Season 2025-2026. Here we go again.
Welcome 2+2 to the English football season of 2025-2026.
This year I am going to make the thread officially for all of E
It is probably something like 10 games.
But was a nice touch after the flop for sure
115 are trying to convince the PL to give them favourable dates for their fixtures, disadvantageous to Bournemouth as well as giving City their last two games at home.
B'mouth currently have an eight day break before their game at home to City which would reduce the three if City's plans are accepted.

Anyone sort of feel a bit happy for Bruno Fernandes after all his toil at Utd the team is starting to fulfil some of its potential as a big club again?
What? No. Not even a little bit.
Yeah I reckon. You can look back on the drinking with some fondness.
I remember during lockdown 2 (electric boogaloo) I counted that I had drunk (not much, only one or two drinks a night) for 15 consecutive nights. I’m surprised it wasn’t more given that I was home schooling kids and was awful at it.
I got absolutely smashed every night for 2.5 weeks ago one point lol, and pretty drunk beyond that.
I then didnt drink a drop of alcohol from Feb 2021 to November 2022, and pretty much don't drink any more now.
Posts like these just show me how much of a friggin bubble I live in with my industry😆😆😆
I just have to laugh and remind myself that I probably look like a raging alcoholic in any other fashion. Yet in the wine industry, I’m fairly tame.
I was also just in Paris and champagne for two weeks for industry events and raging parties. I now have to cobble together my MW application before the deadline on May 8th. 2 btls per person Lunches/dinner are wayyyyyy too common (as I am currently working on a bottle of champagne in the Cotswolds after walking a shortie today on the Cotswolds way. United are 3rd and I’m alive, life ain’t sucking)
If you happen to know Jake or Rachel Osborne, who are both in the wine industry and in the Cotswolds, these are friends of mine.
Where in the Cotswolds? I don’t know them, but I’m in Winchombe right now and staying in Cheltenham the next two nights. And then into Painswick for two nights after.
I’m more than happy to reach out to them if they’re on IG and along the route before I get into Bath
Edit:
If anyone is in London and up for a drink/dinner on Friday the 8th or Saturday the 9th, I’m your huckleberry. Very open to wherever in zones 1 or 2, but due to health issues beer is a no go for me (cider/wine/cocktails are totally fine). Just lmk
My go-to st.rea/mi.ng site somehow has S****horpe vs Southend on offer but not Soton vs Ipswich
(Found it somewhere else)

I believe they are near Chelters somewhere.
I'm not around that weekend unfortunately (collecting a dog from the other end of the country).
Arse/Atletico winners gonna get proper throttled by one of these 2 teams. My goodness
Gonna be glorious when one of them parks the bus for 120 minutes and wins on penalties
Scott Parker sacked.
Please don't let the Gerrard rumours be true.
I'm surprised they stuck with him throughout the season, when it's been clear for a really long time that they're getting relegated, only to sack him now. Maybe there's a break clause in his contract.
Agreed, the timing doesn't make much sense unless there was less compensation due once relegation was confirmed.
Parker's record in the Championship is excellent so I'm not sure changing now improves our chances of promotion next season.
