English Football Season 2025-2026. Here we go again.
Welcome 2+2 to the English football season of 2025-2026.
This year I am going to make the thread officially for all of E
Let’s goooo…variance, meet Liverpool FC.
Chelsea play some proper exciting football and Estevao looks like a lot of fun.
almost like you can't scam variance forever lol
Where is that guy who tried convincing me that Liverpool wasn’t lucky but “good”?
I want to tell him “I told you so”.
i don't think Salah is washed but he sure looked it today
Andy Robertson is washed
great energy and scenes at The Bridge
I think Robertson has been more impressive than Kerkez up-to-this point. I thought the Hungoserbian is going to be excellent at Pool, but his decision making has been suspect.
Think Wirtz will be good after a bit of confidence boost - but Salah looked really poor the last few showings. Everyone can have slumps in form and it is a borderline miracle that Salah only has it now after a LOT of years. 6-7 season wonder obv, it was about to fall down any minute
Fair point about Robertson, He was a major reason peak Klopp Liverpool were so good. Clearly still has the desire but the legs don't quite match up anymore.
I think, being honest, despite all the trolling and jokes on social media Liverpool are missing Trent badly as well. Purely on merit the RB spot should be Sboz's going forward.
Refusal to bring Chiesa on yesterday was also weird. Slot has to sort this out immediately or ultimately it's on him. He has the players and got the spending. They have looked useless at times recently.
Suspect they finally get Ange's first win in the game following that home to ~Amorim's~ Southgate's United
It's quite a thin market, but Amorim is the 2nd fave. Link to full market https://www.betfair.com/exchange/plus/fo...
Rodri hurt. Congrats on the premier league title Arse fans, hard to argue that it isn't deserved.
Odegaard out with a knee ligament injury. Best case scenario 1 month out. Given it was like his 3rd injury to the same knee, probably more.
Eze / Nwaneri better step up quick. Martinelli / Trossard can cover the left.
Merino is better as an impact sub, but I can see us starting him against teams where we will utilize crosses.
lol
I have captained Gyokeres - I think I personally ruined his game and stole like a hattrick.
Also a big news that Gabriel Jesus is back after *checks notes* 7 months on the sideline.
Anyone wanna bet how many games until his next longterm injury?

Give the man all the time he needs. We've got plenty of players to fill the gap. It's quite frustrating to watch Odegaard get subbed off every game and it's equally frustrating praying he doesn't get injured when he plays for Norway lol.
Been listening to a few pundits this weekend bring up the fact there's too many games being played, again, and it's hard to disagree. So many injuries for so many clubs.

Honestly forgot he was an Arsenal player.
Not having Semenyo is a matter of principle at this point. Last time I did this it was Mahrez for THAT Leicester season - worked out well.
You're never more than 6 feet away from a former Watford manager.
I refused to have wood in my team last year.
Jack Wilshere new Luton Town manager.
