Pretty funny. Arteta walked over to shake his hand as usual, looked around and then realised that Emery had rushed off down the tunnel to avoid him, before muttering something under his breath that I'd imagine might be related to cowardice.
In the presser Emery fudged it and made excuses, while Arteta generously brushed it off by saying it was nothing.
I missed all the commotion at the end of the game. Apparently Martinez got triggered too which you hate to see, couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.
Emery is great entertainment tho. No fake things, he loses it he loses it. We need more characters like him, Conte, Mou, van Gaal etc. Just all the more entertaining.

I went out for a quick snack/toilet break when it went to VAR. When I came back I thought I may have missed the kick and Raya saved it or something.
Was an utterly weird decision not to give a pen there, especially after reviewing it.
We are so broke that we are paying way over some Portuguese striker’s release clause as we cannot pay the fee up front.

Was consistent with them not giving arsenal a penalty for a similar situation with Jesus vs villa in 23-24 so I was not surprised it was not given. I'm slightly surprised they are saying it's a mistake given they said the Jesus one was correctly not given considering that was a worse incident. I'm fine if either way just as long as both of those get called the same.

The festive scheduling of games has been crap this year imo. It's felt like there's barely been any games on the TV. I know that's not true but I'm comparing to previous years where it felt like a festival.
