Yep, wasn’t trying to take a dig at all at Chelsea at all here…just that it was a pretty jarring stat.
West Ham look like they’ll be signing this fellow from Lazio to be their new striker, which made me try to come up with the complete list of all their failed ST signings. Chamakh, Fulkrug, Scamacca, Haller, Mido, Lucas Perez…the list goes on and on. Maybe this guy will be the one.
Have to ask does Ekitike have one of the best sounding names in premier league history? Or is it just how commentators pronounce it during the calls when he is about to have a scoring chance?
If we’re talking best sounding only, I think he’s #2 or 3 on his own team (Florian Wirtz, Virgil Van Dijk).
