Glad I am also going on Tuesday to see us play *checks notes* Borussia Dortmund.

Big win for the toffees we are the streak killers palace now villa.

Bloodbath in the LMS as well

Wolves on 8 points now. They likely won’t break Derby’s record, but they sure as hell will have a hard time getting to 20 points this year

****ing hideous garbage we are

Put up better attacking numbers and conceded less than markets projected so seems fine and unlucky. All the teams who played midweek struggled somewhat.

This AFCON final appears to be supremely AFCONy

Don't know if there is a thread for the CAN but I feel like I've just watched a comedy show for free

90' +7 Penalty awarded
90' +9 yellow I. Sarr (Argument)
90' +10 yellow E. H. M. Diouf (Foul)
90' +21 yellow E. Mendy (Argument)
90' +21 yellow A. Salah-Eddine (Argument)
90' +24 Goalkeeper save

lolwut

and we've just had the miss of the century

Please God let there be a 120th min controversial Morocco goal or something

GG Senegal

That was basically the entire tournament.
Senegal got a 100% clear goal disallowed and the last minute penalty for Morocco was never a pen. Brahim Diaz thought the same so he performed the most laughable "panenka" he could think of.

Sadio Mane was the best man on the pitch in more ways than one.

I mean ****ing hell. You are welcome Hoopie.

Glorious.

One of my closest friends died on Thursday. He was buried on Sunday. A die-hard Tottenham fan, he managed to leave this place behind before I got to take the piss out of him about losing to the worst team in the division.

But that’s not all. As I left the cemetery, I saw on the other side of the road the entrance to the new Spurs training ground. I like to think he’ll be giving the players **** from behind the grave.

What an equalizer by Kostoulas!!

Sorry to hear that Hoopie

Bookies have it even that I'll get at least one of my trains to/from Southampton this week refunded due to delays

Sorry for your loss Hoopie.

Condolences mate.

I am also going to the game tonight, so you should be able to grieve a bit more with some more lolling at Spurs.

The last 3 games I have been to:

6-3 hammering by Liverpool
2-2 draw with ****ing Wolves
2-1 defeat to West Ham

I started going in 1991 and somehow I never saw Spurs lose for the first 50 or so games i went to, first defeat i saw was a 1-0 home defeat to Hull in 2008 LOL.

Seen quite a few losses now, I think since I emigrated i have seen more losses than wins when coming back despite us being for the most part better than we were in the 90s when I went a bunch.

They might be better now but the gap between them and other teams has also increased.

Was a clear goal but it also was a clear penalty. No idea why we're pretending it wasn't. I think Senegal's behavior afterwards was absolutely disgraceful and for that reason alone they shouldn't have been allowed to finish the game and just forfeit by default.

I do laugh at Diaz's penalty and the irony of Senegal then winning it. Was pretty cool to watch as a neutral.

Edit: Also shame on Morocco ball boy for taking the goalies towel. What a joke.

My condolences. May he rest in peace.

Solanke with a Puskas award contender there

Would love to see Spurs beat down Dortmund but my usual, uh, provider has technical difficulties. Anyone have a tip where I could turn to?
