NCAA Football 2025
Not sure who will win this year, hopefully Arch goes nuts and UT can kick the door in after making the quarterfinals the
For me, the wildest questions is where they rank Bama and UGA if Bama wins. You don't want to punish a team that much for losing their championship game, so by extension you should also probably not move them up THAT much either, but Bama will have beaten georgia TWICE. Seems almost mandatory that Bama is ranked higher.
Obviously depends on MOV and what the game looks like etc etc,
it would also be weird to move Bama up like 6 spots but then to move UGA down like only 1 or 2? You certainly can't drop them past an Ole Miss team they beat.
If OSU and TT win I think it's probably like
1 osu
2 tt
3 IU
4 bama
5 oregon
6 uga
7 ole miss
else you'd have three b1g teams in the top-4 which also seems weird
for byu and TT, you don't HAVE to put byu ahead of TT if they win since TT did beat them earlier.
I think people are underestimating how high BYU will go if they win. They'd be 12-1 conf champs, their metrics are insane, they've avenged their only loss and it would be to a top 5 team.
They obviously jump ND and Bama (if Bama loses), but I think they also jump OU, ATM, Ole Miss, Oregon and TT
if it's UGA BYU I could see like
1 osu
2 uga
3 iu
4 byu
5 oregon
6 ole miss
7 atm
8 tech
9 ou
10 ...
They don't want to move teams a ton for conf champ games, but there doesn't seem to be much separating vast groups this year
Oregon getting a 5 is great for them either way and the difference between that and 4 isn't really much as it is.
By NCAA rule, a 13th game is exempt only if it's played in Alaska or Hawaii, but the rule doesn't require that the game actually involve a team based in Alaska or Hawaii. So, for instance, Vandy could play Miami in Hawaii, and it would be an exempt game for both Vandy and Miami.
.
Bama jumping all of those teams to get to #4 would be the most ridiculous CFP shenanigan we've seen yet.
saw chatter about that today as well
what's silly and all the reason i'm askin is it's cause you know you can find fair banks with illusions of allowing no meme coins containing anger or rage that will still make your wagering on a lucky thirteenth game in the 49th state if it happened
how can i help make it all our kodak moment
Spoiler
wasilla
alaska
sitka
jeanau
yukon
fairbanks
Aleutian
nome
anchorage

I'm retired from sports betting and gambling in general, but just wondering why Georgia is favored over Alabama when Bama always wins the game, including this year?
How many times in this 10-1 streak (and Smart 1-7 record) has Georgia been favored?
What's going on?
Spoiler
I'm not picking Bama. I think the ownership thing is probably running its course. I don't have the winner. And when I say I do in championship moment, that's earth shattering news.
'bye Goose...
good luck in your recovery.

UGA has now been favored all 6 times since 2021
If Miami gets in and Notre Dame are out it is going to cost me dinner at Oriole in Chicago for me and a mate.
Come on committee put the Irish in
One thing I think has been overlooked is we all agree despite what the committee says there is a lot of politics involved. If Duke wins the ACC is the committee really willing do deny a Power 4 conference a single bid to the CFP to favor an independent that hogs all the money for themselves?
Tech has to be at least 4 or 3 with that performance. I don't necessarily think Georgia is a lock to be Top 4, and moving Bama up to the Top 4 shouldn't happen. Georgia vs Oregon for the last bye I think.

They can put James Madison in over Duke and use Miami instead.
GO DAWGS!!!
This billion dollar stadium has piss poor lighting.
UGA 17-0 under Kirby when they block a kick or punt
Gotta be honest I haven’t kept up with all the playoff scenarios but do any involve bama getting left out? Especially if they get blown out here. Because that would be funny.
Definitely in play
Bama looks like shyt. Can't see how a team that can't run the ball is a real playoff threat either.
