What is more surprising to me is McDonald 18c for COY. He is no worse than top 3 coach ITL, took the team to top seed and SB fave, his D which is best ITL, and took on Darnold and got the most out of him.
I get Vrabel deserves consideration, but those votes were probably cast earlier in the season, joke schedule, and East Coast bias.

I'm going to attempt to transpose the week 18 chat here but mainly I need an area to bitch and moan.
Not sure what feels worse, that miss or Cundiff from 14 years ago. Probably Cundiff given it was playoffs and we had a great team but its close because it still felt like we had a punchers chance this year if we got in. Mind you if Hamilton likely and Wiggins possibly would miss the wild card game our defense would maybe be the worst of all playoff teams. At least we had the run the year after Cundiff missed.
Trading Lamar is certainly one option. I don't disagree this could be the last chance to cash in on peak value. Someone would pay a lot for a generational QB. But I think it would be the wrong move. If Lamar doesn't sniff a deep run again he's still the franchises best QB ever and if we move on and try a reset there's zero guarantee of anything. As a fan I'm happier to roll the dice and take the bad with the good. Last night was a lot of good out of Lamar, and obviously not a reason they lost.
Bigger than the Lamar problem was the total inconsistency in playcalling, both offensively and defensively, and a league bottom pass rush.
Team is still built to win now. I suspect Harbaugh stays on, Bisciotti is too old school to turf his long term guy. He is linked to Lamar and I think the recent news on their relationship is just puff. More likely Monken and Orr get sent packing than him.
might be worth trading an aging running qb who might be a choker if you can get a big haul, but as far as 2025 goes it seems silly to ignore that hammy injury he suffered. clearly wasn't the same player after he returned, seems almost certain he wasn't 100%. kind of a big deal when running is such a big part of what makes him great.

Jackson would get less than 3 1s I’d guess, albeit he’s been a more accomplished QB and is the same age
