GOAT NBA Discussion: Biggest fraud poster: fallguy. Super AIDS Containment thread
A reminder that LeBron is 14 months older than MJ was when he fizzled out of the league.
664 and counting more games played, he's at 1915 combined reg season + playoffs so could hit the 2k career mark next year. Over 100 clear of Parish, and Kareem. Those 2 were no where near this level at the end of their careers either.
He's played 17 more playoff games than Zion Williamson has played regular season games in a 7 year career. And Zion has yet to appear in a playoff game.
Itβs amazing when the pro Jordan people announce how stupid they are, sometimes. βHe only scored 19 with LD and AR out, terrible!β is quite the TAEK.
I still think Rockets in 6 all the same - they have a massive talent advantage here across the board.
He had 8 points late into the 3rd quarter. Got 11 more when game was out of reach. He was acting like he couldn't believe he was making them too. Your 2 best offensive players are out so teams counting on you to put the team on your back and have 8 points late in the 3rd quarter? Luckily for Lebron Kenard and Hachimura were "developed" as one said that they saved Lebron last night. That being said i think Lebron will be much better in upcoming games. How could he not this was horrific. Lakers fans happy they have kenard and Hachimura. I bet that's how Jordan fans felt watching Jordan.
Thread Cliffs Since primary ballhandlers can't produce the best basketball (dynasties or dominant title runs) as 1st option, they can't be in the top 10 all-time... Accordingly, the top 10 should be a subjective mix of the best jumpshooters and bigs ever, since these skillsets routinely produce the best basketball as "the guy"... I prefer to put the jumpshooters over the bigs,
Dirk?
Well they need KD. They don't play good offensive basketball. The Lakers play smarter than they do.The Rockets have length and rebounding. They are a bad offensive team, KD makes them much much better.I dunno if Luka can come back if the Lakers can extend the series. That is one way they can possibly win.They can also win if KD can't comeback and be KD.I'm gonna predict sam
If Luka comes back Lakers win. They may win even if he doesn't. That was a horrific performance by the Rockets.
Sad Luka having his best season, the conditioning in the offseason really paid off for him, then pulling a hamstring right before the playoffs. Luka was crazy this season. I think the conditioning helped him late in games to still have his legs shooting that 3. In past seasons he'd miss some of them late cause he was tired. This year he shoots that step back 3 like most people shooting free throws. What a baller!

It just becomes clear that you people either a) donβt watch basketball or b) canβt comprehend it. Thereβs a reason Jordan couldnβt get to the playoffs with the Wiz, or Kobe couldnβt pull the Lakers out of the lottery his last couple of years. Yes, LeBron stayed a half decade behind them in terms of physical decline. But more importantly LeBron has added new abilities to his tool box, becoming a more efficient shooter from deep and being able to impact without holding the ball in all scenarios.
He had a really nice game last night, and itβs reflected in +/-. 13 assists, clever half court management, efficient shot making and solid help defense. You guys didnβt care about his #stats when he lost, but the one stat the Lakers canβt afford right now is inefficient chucking. They need to vary the point of attack and be as efficient as possible. Because Houston are destroying them on the boards and will shoot more efficiently themselves in future games.
I donβt doubt LeBron could have gone 14 / 30 and put up 30 / 8 / 6 but heβd have added another ~5 turnovers and the Lakers would have lost. They still are very likely to lose the series, but losing becomes a certainty if LeBron tries to play like 2018 in 2026. Houston would love him to handle the ball all the way up the floor and drive to the cup over and over. They would LOVE that from a 41 year old.
MJ was average for the Wizards because he became an ineffective chucker. He offered no leadership and he didnβt make the players around him (that he assembled) better. He was also years younger than LeBron is now.
You probably should make some effort to obfuscate your limited ability to understand all of this.

Firstoff. You make 2 posts my way calling me stupid and other insults. I never insulted anyone here whenever i post and debate whose the goat. So i'd appreciate i if we can discuss without being negative and angry. Let's start over. Peace and love. No reason to be angry. All good bro!
Secondly, i hear your points and agree with some of them. But they look real rosie. Like i wonder if Kenard, Hachimura, and others had bad games if this night for Lebron would have looked good in your eyes. Still bad imo. Your the primary scorer with your 2 best players out and can't break 20. Half his points were near the end when they were pulling away. Point is Lebron counted on players that usually don't play that well. He should of been counting on himself being he's supposedly the goat.
He goes to the free throw line once and misses both free throws. Awesome Lebron. He shoulda been driving more scoring and getting to the line. Higher pecentage than Lebron firing 3's. What star on any team doesn't break 20 and only goes to the free throw line once? Especially in a playoff game.
And, of course, you realise Durant teamed with Curry because Curry got schooled by LeBron and Draymond went crying to Durant to save them.
Steph Curry vs Lebron in finals. Steph leads 3 to 1 in finals vs Lebron. Winning 4-2, 4-1, and 4-0. Yeah that's right you heard it a SWEEP on the so called goat. Lebron wins once in a 4-3 series nailbiter 7th game. Narrative "Lebron schools Steph so had run after Durant" because he beats him once. While Steph crushes him 3 times and Lebron running to look for more help his whole career.
Could you imagine Jordan getting swept in a finals? Losing 4-1 ina finals? 4-2 in Finals? Yeah, me neither. Could you imagine Jordan losing a finals? Me neither.
Btw sorry calling you a traitor to Steph and Jordan. Was only joking. I hope it's apparent my posts are not written to be negative or angry at anyone. Just sarcastic in a fun way debating who he goat is.

Playing at a lower level for longer (longevity) will never qualify for GOAT.
The highest caliber of basketball that has ever been achieved in the modern era (offensive basketball) is 2 three-peats... or 72 wins + title... or 6 FMVP... or 6 titles as the best player,... or 10 straight scoring titles + 1st team defense.
Only Jordan reached this caliber of individual and team dominance.. No one else is even close to it, so it's a completely fake debate and fraud designed to make bad journalists more money
There’s a reason Jordan couldn’t get to the playoffs with the Wiz, or Kobe couldn’t pull the Lakers out of the lottery his last couple of years.
It's because they didn't have a top 5 teammate like AD or Luka.
Lebron was lottery until AD lifted him out of lottery, and he would still be lottery without Luka.
Lebron is completely carried compared to Jordan, and it's fraud because the Luka and AD acquisitions were both suspicious... The league orchestrates this collusion so that old Lebron can get carried to the playoffs, otherwise he's lottery like 2019
This is epic dude.
40 year old Jordan or 35 year old Kobe would've gone out on their shield shooting 5-32 from the field with 2 assists in a blowout loss.
Lebron barely won 50 games and lost in the 1st Round with top 5 teammates like Luka or AD
That's horrible and a joke.. Lebron has always been a fraud
Otoh, 40-year Jordan would win the title with top 5 guys like AD or Luka, since he already won 6 with less...
40-year Jordan certainly wins 60 with a top 5 teammate like AD or Luka.. We can mathematically prove this if we assume 40-year Jordan can still play 82 games without hurting the Lakers' defense when he's on the floor like he did with the 03' Wizards (while Lebron craters the defense).. This alone would add 10 wins (82 games and good defense), in addition to the better fit with Luka.
Steph leads 3 to 1 in Finals series wins vs Lebron. Winning 4-2, 4-1, and 4-0. Lebron wins once in a 4-3 series nailbiter 7th game. Haha you're killing these bron fluffers lmao
Anyone that looks into the details of Lebron's career sees that it's a fraud,
aka teaming up with opponents and super-teams but STILL having many bad losses, lottery record against Finals teams, and perennial underachievement of roster expectations
(barely winning 50 games with preseason favorites, thereby falling to underdog).
.
Lebron lost the most ever:
* in the Finals
* with preseason favorites
* with super-teams
* goat meltdown (10')
* goat choke (11')
* most locked up ever
* most missed shots ever
* most turnovers ever
* most 1st Round losses w/ top 5 teammate
* the most running away and teaming up w/ opponents
^^^^ No one has a bigger body of work of FAILURE

You are as well! You need to keep showing these people why they need to put more respect on Jordan's name. Lebron James better than Michael Jordan at beasketball lol.
One more on Lebron schools Steph so ran after Durant narrative. Steph has 2 championships without Durant including AFTER Durant left. Oh wait i thought Steph and Warriors only won championships because of Durant? Steph takes down the mighty Celtics witrh Tatum, Brown, and the unsung hero of that team Derrick flippin White!!!!
How many Lebron got without his best player? Let me get the calculator and add up these numbers doot, doot, don't forget to add 1 for Lebron's goatness, and he's got a big grand total of wait for it........ZERO!!!!!!!!

Nick Wright in 2020: "Wiggins is a bad basketball player..."
I mean jfc.... Has anyone ever been more wrong about anything? lol.
And it's crazy because Curry makes guys like Wiggins overachieve expectation, while Lebron's coveted acquisitions underachieve like Love, Hughes, Bosh, Jamison, Ingram, IT, Westbrook and many more.
It's interesting how Curry and MJ turned chokers like Wiggins and Pippen into winners, while Wade taught Lebron how to win, or AD and Hughes taught Lebron how to make the playoffs in the West and East, respectively.
Ultimately, Lebron needed 1st options to play 2nd and 3rd option for him, while Curry and MJ won with career 2nd options, or "pippens".. They won with "normal" rosters of 1 franchise player, while Lebron-ball needed "super-teams" of 3 franchise players, and still mostly lost horribly.

Exactly!
Aww this is cute.
Imagine if Jordan teamed up with Isiah and McHale, yet people were still like "can you believe they won the East again?"
That's what people did when Lebron put the top 3 scorers in the East on 1 team - it's amazing he got props for winning the conference after that..
Fortunately, the West exposed his all-star team strategy by whooping his talent-based approach with chemistry..
The point is that Lebron's "body of work" is based mostly on the aforementioned manufactured Finals streak... Otherwise, he's a massive loser by any other measure - that's his body of work - bad losses
How does SGA get traded twice? Nobody saw this dude's talent? Crazy! Another guy with more goat-like potential than Lebron.
Most goat nominee's entered the league at an older age. Lebron enters at 18 and has played in the league for 100 years and only has 4 titles playing with some of the best players in his generation. And coming out of the soft east where he had a buy to the finals many years. And one was the bubble that should have an asterisk. Something tells me Lebron liked not having to play in front of a crowd. Lights less bright.

Sorry, SGA can't be GOAT. Something something assisted field goals.
Also, expecting the Rockets to take care of business and beat the Lakers. But still an excellent performance by the Lakers to take game 1.
You can't expect the GOAT at 41 to win a series when the two best players are out. The fact we are even saying it is a possibility is saying something. LeBron should be averaging 6/3/1 at this point in his career.
