GOAT NBA Discussion: Biggest fraud poster: fallguy. Super AIDS Containment thread
Wemby's body holds up for 10 years he's the GOAT defensive player, not really all that close. Idk if his offense will get there but he has a strong shot at the best 3-5 yr peak.
Wemby with 39/15 and 5 blocks in a pivotal game 3 in his first playoff run, and he's 22.
MJ didn't have a pivotal game in the 2nd round until he was 25.
Wemby is miles ahead of MJ at the same age.

Why do you always try to tear down Jordan? You said he was your favorite player and had posters on your wall of him. But always try to diminish the greatness of the goat?
Yeah dumb isn't it.
I don't understand? What is your beef with jordan that not only you now don't think he ws the best. But now say he was a fraud and 10 if he's lucky? Hakeem was the same player. How did jordan wrong you?
Did he steal your girlfriend or something? I don't get it?
Are you leaving a signal of waiving the white flag? It's ok we forgive you for doubting the goat jordan, come to our side, The side of truth!
Jokic, Wemby, Sga, and Luka only guys currently have a chance to take Jordan's crown. They will all fall short probably, but they got their chance. Maybe Wemby if he stays healthy, and improves on his 3 pointer, has the best shot. And wins at least 6 titles!
I'd already rule Luka out of this. Hasn't cracked a top 2 in MVP voting yet. Appears to have already peaked. Recurring muscle injuries and issues with conditioning. Just one finals appearance, a loss.
Jokic, 3 MVP's and 1 title and 1 finals MVP. But getting older and playoff success has faltered. Only 1 finals appearance though age 30 and 11 seasons in I'd rule him out too, but he's already got a strong top 10 case.
Wemby definitely drawing live but it's way too early.
SGA starts looking pretty legit if goes back to back on the MVP/Finals MVP at age 27. That alone gets you into the top 20 already with plenty of time to continue climbing. He'll already have his 3rd top 2 in MVP voting which is something Luka hasn't done yet and is at risk of never doing. If OKC runs off 4 in a row right now with him taking all 4 finals MVP's I'll be really interested in seeing how this gets assessed.
Generally speaking, someone that's 3-4 in the Finals (1 Finals appearance) wouldn't be comparable to someone that's 22-33 (10 Finals appearances).
OK so then why would you do it? You said worst winning percentage of all time.
Also is someone who made 10 finals and lost all 10 finals 3-4 going 30-40 better than someone who wins 4 going 22-33?
Almost like it's a meaningless jab?

No one lost 10 Finals... 6 of 10 is the worst that we've seen, and Lebron did it..
His 22-33 record means that he can't compete on the championship level... His worst-ever individual performance and worst-ever team performance further confirms it, while 0 for 7 on game-winners CEMENTS that Lebron can't compete on the championship level.
Again, he had a winning record at every other level but the championship level exposed him - that's the level where he's no longer viable.. He's the worst-ever on the championship level.

Fidstar is an immature liar and not worth your time.
He's mad because he's been blatantly proven wrong over and over,
Ignore him.. He's the thread buffoon that takes a beating and keeps coming back... Maybe he'll stay gone this time.. He's said Jordan is goat many times and just likes to waste time tbh..
He thinks he's doing Lebron a favor by keeping the thread going, but AI will synthesize this thread one day and conclude that Lebron is an obvious fraud.
If you just look at the numbers, he lowers everyone's assists and produces low assist teams - this alone explains his inability to compete against Finals teams (22-33).
Jordan leads a team to a lead and then loses... GOAT
LeBron leads a team to a lead and then loses... Meltdown.
Got it.
Lebron was a massive league favorite and lost (black mark), while MJ was a massive underdog when he lost (no black mark).
Why does this need to be explained to you? We don't need blatant dumbness itt.. Lebron lost a bunch when expected to win, while Jordan never did.
And Lebron averaged 21 on 34% to lose the lead - it was the goat meltdown and it would be like SGA losing this lead to the Lakers as a massive favorite.

He has 4 NBA Finals MVPs. I can think of several players who have fewer.
6 losses overshadows the 4 wins...
For example, the only reason to lose by record amount is because you have the worst roster ever, and you're facing the best roster ever... Accordingly, losing by record margin with the preseason favorite is horrific (2014).. Then there's the goat choke in 2011...
These are the 2 worst losses in Finals history (the goat blowout and the goat choke).. And yet there's more - he lost by record margin with a big 3 in 2017, and another record loss with an all-star teammate in 2018.
This is a HORRIFIC Finals record compared to Duncan, Curry, Kobe or MJ, among others.
The reality is that Lebron's big 3's were supposed to be dynasties and win 70 games, but instead his PEERS did this with less talented rosters.. Lebron's standard was to barely win 50 games with the preseason favorite, thereby falling to perennial underdog.
^^^ That would assume that everyone has the exact same roster and circumstance to start the season.
That's why the logic fails.
For example, a Finals appearance and loss for the 01' Sixers was a historic success and certainly not a failure, but a Finals loss WOULD'VE been massive failure for the 92' Bulls, and it certainly was for the 04' Lakers or 13' Spurs, or the 11' and 14' Heat, or the 17' Cavs.
In Lebron's case, he put the top 3 players in the conference on 1 team, so winning the conference meant nothing and was essentially manufactured/guaranteed.. The West easily exposed this grift.
Furthermore, it's always been intuitive that losing the Finals means that you can't make the Finals from the other conference.. That's why winning the Finals is all that matters, in order to defeat the ENTIRE LEAGUE (instead of just 1 conference - a manufactured conference).
Ultimately, Lebron has a winning record on every level EXCEPT the championship level, where he's the biggest loser of all-time.. He's the biggest loser by virtue of a lottery record overall, along with worst-ever individual and team performance, and also complete futility in the clutch (0-7 on game-winners or tyers).. So the facts are clear - Lebron and his "bron-ball" skillset can't compete on the championship level.
Yes we get your opinion that Jordan had no help and Lebron always did
.
.
Lebron received 4 players that were superior to 1990 Pippen:
05' HUGHES.................. 21.6 PER... 0.157 WS/48... 3.7 VORP... 4.3 BPM... 22/6/5.... 1st Team All-D
90' PIPPEN.................... 16.3 PER... 0.087 WS/48... 3.0 VORP... 1.8 BPM... 16/6/5.... No All-D
09' MO WILLIAMS........ 17.2 PER... 0.165 WS/48... 3.1 VORP... 2.3 BPM... 17/3/4
90' PIPPEN.................... 16.3 PER... 0.087 WS/48... 3.0 VORP... 1.8 BPM... 16/7/5
09' JAMISON................. 20.6 PER... 0.126 WS/48... 2.8 VORP... 1.6 BPM... 22/9/2
90' PIPPEN.................... 16.3 PER... 0.087 WS/48... 3.0 VORP... 1.8 BPM... 16/7/5
06' ZYDRUNAS'.............. 21.9 PER... 0.184 WS/48... 2.1 VORP... 1.6 BPM... 16/8/1 (2 bpg)
90' PIPPEN..................... 16.3 PER... 0.087 WS/48... 3.0 VORP... 1.8 BPM... 16/7/5
^^^ Lebron had more offensive help Jordan's title teams, and better ranked team defense as well
Would you respect Jokic if he teamed up with SGA and KAT to win the West??
Should we consider that goat-caliber and not give a crap what happens in the Finals?
The top 300 players in history would win the East with Wade/Bosh or Love/Kyrie... The top 100 would win with just Love.
And Lebron always had more help than Jordan because his first playoff teams in 2006 had the East All-star center and an acquisition that was better than 1990 Pippen, or 93' Pippen (see stats in previous post above).. That's more help than MJ ever had, and that was prior to adding Mo Williams, or Jamison/Shaq to a 66-win league favorite.
Again, losing in earlier rounds can be considered better than losing in the Finals if the earlier round loss was still considered an overachievement... Obviously, no one considers Lebron's Finals appearances an overachievement except 07', so his Finals losses are failures compared to guys that lost in earlier rounds but still overachieved expectation.

Hmmmmm, I wonder why Lebron's teams might have been favoured / expected to achieve.
Preseason favorite status wasn't due to Lebron because otherwise he would've been the preseason favorite PRIOR to the "decision", but he wasn't...
Instead, he needed to put the top 3 PER's in the league on 1 team to get preseason favorite status.. Otoh, Jordan EARNED preseason favorite status in 92' by winning without it in 91'..... (edit: 3 of the top 4 PER's).
So once again we see that 1 guy is a fraud, while the other is the real deal
One player in not being preseason favourite alone in team sport shocker.
Do you never get bored?
