When you think of the greatest vocal harmonizers of the 50's these guys better be on the tip of tounge! SCTV is alway hilarious and all of these guys are all comedic royalty. Lots of untapped potential from the sketch shows that didn't go in this draft.

Yep! This actually is an interesting one with all the grey areas; I’m sorry if someone got offended during those discussions.
I’m going to end in a really grey area; in fact pitch black evil to go with the vampires & Stegman from Class of 1984: I’m picking the cursed harmonica from Once Upon A Time In The West, for the Acid Queen to play during live performances of Midnight Rambler.
Okay, I'm going for a post-modern, Hall of Mirrors trick here. I suppose this one might not be exactly in keeping with the theme but let me know.
Ever hear of the actors Elan Ben Ali and Tijan Njie? No. Me either. But they play two singers who were fakes themselves.

I think she did briefly dancing in the park? But she’s a bookkeeper. Mick Jagger never played a musician unless it was himself or based on himself.
I actually deleted my post because I meant something different and realized it could have spoilers.
In my original post what I meant was what movies have a character who’s a musician but doesn’t play any music in the film? Like a movie with a writerblocked writer or injured/retired athlete.

Jagger wasn't really playing a version of himself but was playing a kind of washed up rock star in Performance. He does perform a number in the movie though.

I don't know. The show was based on a real band, The Cowsills, from Newport, RI. So a fake band playing a real band?
Anyway, I was considering the last scene of Fellini's 8 1/2. Or The Fabulous Stains.

The musicals that are about bands or singers though should be 100% fine. I'm thinking stuff like New York New York or White Christmas. But I purposely didn't pick any of that stuff because I don't feel it captures the spirit of the draft.

Rush was known for their self-deprecating short films played prior to, during athe break, and after their shows. This was from the Time Machine tour (2011, I believe).

I’m taking the music class from Class of 1984: Perry King, Tim Van Patten, Michael J Fox, and Keanu Reeves.
John has next two then me again. Writeups later.
Michael J. Fox still kicks himself for not buying up all the prints of this when he could’ve. Completely ludicrous of course and a huge box office flop, but some pretty good performances; worth a watch if you liked The Warriors or Over The Edge maybe. Once Sixteen Candles was released this genre changed obviously.
Roddy McDowall wuz robbed of a BSA nom, but not as badly as Alice Cooper was for I Am The Future.
