For past 3 years one of the popular event is Mystery Million ( Bounty) $1000 Buy- in.

How does playing multiple flights work in this actual tournament. Since its says you're cashing on Day 1 of the event what happens if I have a very small stack and want to try other days 1's. Do I surrender my chips for a small cash, can I play a second day 1B if I have chips from day 1A and then still get a small cash for the first stack or can I just play as many day ones as
Yes you can surrender your chips before begging thus you can play next day1 flight.
Based on expectations I think $550 Mystery Bounties’ Bounty Pool should be around $5 million to $5.5 millions.*
Previously $1K mystery million bounty tournaments had bounty pool around similar.
* $200 out of $550 goes towards Bounty Pool. Expecting 25000-27000 runners.
IMHO $550 buy-ins will give similar bounty pool making the tournament very attractive!!

Looks like they got 20, 488 entrants. We were all over with our guesses as far as I can tell. So the $500 I said I would give out for a perfect guess is safe.

That's really close to what the $1M got as an opening event isn't it? Despite the much lower buy-in and extra flights. Hmm. Maybe not the big hit they were hoping for. It will be interesting to see what the $1, 000 event draws later in the schedule.
I'm not a big fan of the MB format. Tournament poker already has enough variance for me, I don't like the idea of taking a huge chunk of the prize pool and adding a random distribution factor to it. And especially with this one, such a small percentage of the field ever got to enjoy the bounty aspect. I'd much prefer a standard bounty format where every player has a $200 bounty and they begin right from the start.

Way WAY off from the guesses here. The NL formats seem to have taken a hit the first few events. I know the $600 was about 1500 runners short from last year.
