There is a webpage set up that shows all of the games currently running, updated every 15 minutes.
Some general rules:
- The betline is merely a courtesy line for the dealers. Please place all bets inside this line. It is not used for legal enforcement of any action.
- At showdown, you must show 2 cards to make a claim to the pot, even if all others muck without showing.
- There is no IWTSTH rule.
- Players (up to 2) are allowed up to 1 hour away from the table, after which you risk being picked up by the floor.
- There is a 3rd man walking rule in raked games. If there are at least 2 other players away from the table, you only have 10 minutes to be away from the table. There is no such rule in timed games.
- In PL/NL games, $100 cash bills play, but other cash denominations do not. In limit games, most cash denominations play.

Tournaments:
Foxwoods runs several daily tournaments. They also run lots of special tournaments, such as Megastacks (quarterly), Foxwoods Poker Classic (Mar/Apr), WPT (Oct/Nov), and several holiday events. Tournament monthly schedule can be found here:
More information on these tournaments can be found in various tabs/links on the Foxwoods Poker website linked above.

Bad Beat Jackpot:
Foxwoods runs 2 player-funded bad beat jackpots (BBJ) – 1 for holdem and 1 for stud. The games that contribute to and are eligible for the BBJ are:
Holdem
1-2nl, 2-5nl, 2-4, 4-8, 5-10, 10-20.
Stud
1-3, 1-5, 5-10.
For holdem, a hand of quad 8’s or better must lose to a better hand for the BBJ to be hit. Both hole cards in both hands must play, and for quads the player must hold a pocket pair (A8 on 888xx board doesn’t qualify, despite the Ace playing). For stud, quad 2’s or better must lose to a better hand.
50% of the jackpot is awarded to the 2nd place hand (the “loser”😉, 25% awarded to the winner, and 25% split among the rest of the players. You must be dealt into the hand to receive a share – if you were away from the table, you’re ineligible.
These are the general rules. Please visit the website for further specific rules.

Comps:
Comps are tracked using the Rewards card. These can be obtained at any of the several Rewards desks found throughout the property. The floorperson can also create one for you. All you need is a valid ID.
Foxwoods Poker Room utilizes the Bravo tracking system. The dealer will swipe your Rewards card when you sit at the table, and log you out when you leave. Your points will be immediately available on your account.
Points are the equivalent of dollars, which can be used anywhere in the casino, except for gaming (hotel, restaurant, retail, etc). They do allow you to cash out your points, at a rate of 2 points for $1 cash. Retail gift cards, such as Mobil gas cards, Stop & shop cards, etc, can be purchased for 62.5 points for a $50 card. If you use points to purchase gas at the Mobil station, the rate is 1 point to $1.
Comps at restaurants - Points are redeemed at 1:1 at all restaurants with the following exceptions:Guy Fieri's - the point:dollar ratio is 1.25:1
Bake Culture - the point:dollar ratio is 2:1
The amount of points you earn varies by game. Each game title will be followed by the letter L, M, or H (example: 1-2 No Limit H). This tells you the comp level for that game. L = 0.85 pt/hr, M = 1.275 pt/hr, H = 1.7 pt/hr, HC = 1.7 pt/hr (Time collection instead of rake).
There are weekly/monthly comps that are awarded, such as cash giveaways, gifts, show tickets, free points, free rooms, etc. The way to earn these as a poker player is relatively unknown, as the comp system is rather enigmatic in this regard.
Tier credits are earned at poker at a rate of 4 credits per point earned. So 1 hour at 1/2nl earns 1.7 pts and 6.8 credits. Occasionally the casino will run promotions which multiply the earn rate. Tier credits are what is used to advance in tier card status. Please see the website for more info on tier card benefits and requirements.

Hotels:
There are 3 hotels within the structure: Great Cedar, Grand Pequot, and Fox Tower (formerly MGM). There is a 4th hotel on the property called Two Trees Inn. There is a shuttle which runs between Foxwoods and Two Trees every 10 minutes, 24/7. All hotels have wireless internet.
Here are some Pros/Cons to each:
- Fox Tower – Generally accepted as the nicest hotel, having the most comfortable beds, large bathrooms, great showers. Rooms are around 400 sqft. It is the farthest from the poker room, taking most people around 15 mins to walk.
- Grand Pequot – Has the largest rooms (450 sqft), renovated around 2 years ago. Most centrally located on-property of the 3. Prices were raised when remodeled.
- Great Cedar – Renovated around 6 years ago. Closest to the poker room. Smaller then Pequot/Fox Tower (350 sqft). Tiny bathroom. Lots of noise from hallway/outside.
- Two Trees – Generally the cheapest of them all. Motel quality, renovated around 2 years ago. Inconvenience of waiting for the shuttle (or walking/driving).
There is no poker rate for the hotels. Hotel rates will vary for each person based on their player rating with the casino, as well as the usual factors (day of week, availability, etc). Floors will usually have no problem finding out what’s available for you if you inquire while playing. All quoted prices will have a $25/night resort fee added on (except Two Trees, which is $18) as well as 15% tax. No resort fee on comped rooms.
There are lots of hotels/motels within 15-20 mins driving distance around Foxwoods. A google search should reveal most of them. They will generally be much cheaper than staying on property. Search this thread for ‘priceline’ for tips on staying for cheap.

Parking:
The closest garage to the poker room is the Rainmaker Garage. The closest surface lot is J Lot (also the closest parking overall). There is also the Rainmaker Valet just outside the parking garage.

Anyone here play the 8/16 OE on Saturdays? Any idea why 1 of the 2 games doesn’t last all night? Is the game that nitty?

I see on Bravo Foxwoods is now spreading a 1-3 no limit hold'em game, anyone have any info on it?
did they just replace 1/2? or is 2/5 just going to be gutted now? or will 1/3 just not run?
Action there today is nuts, any particular reason?
Does Foxwoods still wipe out your points balance if you haven’t played in over a year? Also, how do you find out the last time you played there?
Was there over the weekend. The 1/3 NL (100-500) game was running, it is distinct from the 1/2 and 2/5NL. Seemed to eat up a little bit of the player pool for 2/5 which may may drive better action in the game if it sticks. They should really just make 1/2 into 1/3 and be done with it, most rooms offer 1/3 as the lowest stake with 4 or 500 max.
In the building wanting to play O.E. If any degens looking to come down

Seeking general consensus: What's the longest one could leave a car in a Foxwoods parking garage without being towed?
It's been forever since I played at Foxwoods and even longer since I played satellites there so I was hoping to get some insight
- 1. If you play the $120 and win a $1200 voucher is it tied to the next satellite or can it be held until the following weekend?
- 2. Does the $1200 just pay out 12k cash or do they actually have some way to buy you in to the WSOP?
- 3. Anybody know approx how late the last few Sunday $1200s have lasted?
1. It's a $200 buy in, not a $120. You can use the $1200 voucher for any of the three remaining Sundays you want to play.
2. Foxwoods handles the $10k seat part. You'll be able to get it at the Paris/Horseshoe cage in Vegas when you register for the main event. Foxwoods also gives out an extra $2k in cash for travel expense for every $10k seat they award.
3. I'm not sure, but my guess would be around 10-12 hours depending on how long the bubble lasts.
I ended up playing the $200 last night. Busted shortly after re-entry period and didn't really circle back when I left a few hours later (9pm) to see how far they were from the payouts.
You were pretty spot on with your estimate for the Sunday event - I spoke with a floor and he said around 11pm if it plays out, 10pm if players try to make a collective deal.
Noticed they're gonna run $275 wsop millionaire maker satellites every thurs-fri starting the 23rd with "$3000 cash payouts" why not just call it a last longer tournament? Why even include the wsop name?
Anyone know how many entries they're getting on the friday survivor tourney? I know the first week wasn't good not sure if it picked up

The 1/3 holdem game is on the board but rarely goes AFAIK. Someone at my PLO table said it went a few times mostly populated by 2/5 holdem players but it tends to break when they start another 2/5 holdem.
The 2/5 holdem does appear to be weak at Foxwoods. Yes it can be tight and nitty at times but they need to use more sense when starting games as I'd hate to see it disappear. (it's still profitable to beat up on OMCs and nits). For example I've seen them start a second 2/5 holdem game when it was clear to anyone who pays attention that the existing 2/5 holdem game had several 2-5 PLO players in it waiting for that game to start and the 2/5 holdem list had several PLO players standing around (or killing time in 1/2 holdem) that would almost certainly take the PLO game when it started. Sure enough the PLO game starts a bit later breaking the second 2/5 holdem game which obviously pissed off a few holdem only players. Better would be to start the first 2/5 PLO game before the second 2/5 holdem "must move" game.
Foxwoods (especially during the day) has more than it's share of passive, nitty, OMCs playing 1/2 holdem. After all these years of inflation you would think 1/3 would be the small game. I wish they would promote the heck out of 1/3 holdem getting enough 1/2 holdem game players to move over and get used to it and then eliminate the 1/2. After all an open limp in a 1/3 cost about the same compared to a small order of McDonalds fries these days as an open limp in a 1/2 cost in McD fries a few years ago.
The only solution would be to eliminate $1-2 NL and have $1-3NL be the smallest game available in the room. The regs aren't going to move up willingly unless they have no other choice.
Good news: they are doing a 2 day tournament with multiple days 1s
Bad news: every single flight and the day 2 are all on weekdays

I went yesterday, no 2-5 going, played 1-2 for like 90 minutes saw about 20 pots under $10. Lol and of course they take a $2 rake. Thanks to all the solvers, training sites and such hold em is dying slowly.

In that case I sure hope it wraps up before 12am when they shut it all down.. In all seriousness this is good to see and a step in the right direction

lol no one at fw using solvers for that game. You couldn’t use solvers to play in a limpfest anyway where pots go 3-7 ways to a flop.
It’s bad misregs who play for comps. They simple don’t have the money to make poker profitable at those stakes. If they do have the money, they’re going to limp all day so it’s going to take a long time to get it.
