So now PLEs are moving to ESPN streaming, which means I can get rid of Peacock, which just increased their price by close to 40%. Where is all the older stuff going to go though It was so much easier when they just had their own network.
EDIT: Does not include NXT PLEs or library. Guess you gotta pay somebody else for those.
Have they given any clarity on whether this means the PLE are PPVs now? Cuz you can have espn+ and you’re still paying $80 per for UFC
All ESPN is getting at this point is the new PLEs. They didn’t negotiate anything else.
Main event was a miss for me. Blowing up the Cena heel turn a night before SS and having a straightforward face vs face STREET FIGHT is unforgiveable.
They had to do something to make it make sense, and they didn't.
Also, 900 super kickouts doesn't make a match great.
Also ending the ppv by totally burying that the face of the company just won the wwe title is kinda lol.
Now that we’re a few days removed I definitely agree with this
Don’t get me wrong, it was a solid match, and cena’s best work in a long ass time, but the whole whathaveyou of cena’s face turn makes absolutely no sense if you have Cody, who has been getting let’s go cody cody sucks heat since the WM build remain face, and cena just getting stomped out and then F5’d by pinkydick, what was the point of any of this
It does seem like it would have made a lot more sense to have Cody beat the evil out of Cena during their streetfight and THEN have Cena realize the error of his ways but I'm not a Chief Content Officer.
Who needs a logical reason for Cena turning face when you can just do it in a promo on Smackdown all for the sake of further burying Travis Scott

Why would they put them on three straight PLEs then release them.
He's boring in the ring but their entrance is great, which is way more important.
They went to Saudia Arabia and Scarlett figured a way to have her tits out. This is a generational act.
Not necessarily a release with his contract up. The entrance and charisma are off the chart, but the in ring work definitely holding him back. The rumor is that he keeps doing things they tell him not to do, but hoping that's part of the angle.

They are always very specific that his WWE contract is expired. Maybe he signed a TNA contract or something like that. He could get over there as a cult leader. In WWE he never wins so leading a cult is highly unlikely.

I absolutely did not watch this show, but 25 minutes of highlights is perfect. Includes Microman vs Omos, Iguana vs Demon, and Cory Graves iconic call, "killer klown just ripped his own face off!!"
