Watching Unreal S2E3 and wondering what that chewing out might have looked like for LA Knight (and probably Abyss too) if Vince were still in charge.

Also hoping Michael Hayes' comments and the resulting backlash earn Chelsea a bigger push.

She just broke her ankle, so it might be awhile before any push for her

OOOOOOOOBA

Wonder what the original plan for Gable's Americano was before he got hurt?

And if someone is supposed to be in the crate, won't they be dead by the time they open it in two weeks?

On a potentially related note, has Danielson been on AEW tv since Brie returned?

He was on commentary last week, a show you ostensibly watched per the AEW thread.

I frequently watch with the volume down so I can listen to other things.

Darn kids these days and their ADHD-addled viewing habits.

Last night's Raw was so bad that it made me consider quitting wwe altogether.

Skinny Abyss didn't do it for you?

Seth has already taken out everyone who booted him out of the vision without even coming back.

Damn Chelsea took a bump in a cast.

What a legend that was hardcoreish

According to Unreal S2 finale...

Spoiler
Show

They thought the Cena heel turn didn't work because fans wanted to cheer Cena too much, but the plan seemed like it might have been for him to turn back around Summerslam all along anyway, which means it was doomed from the start.

They were going to wait until after the SS match though and have Cena surprise come out and save Cody, but Cody had to leave to film a movie for 6 weeks, which is why they just had Cena come out on Smackdown and just announce he was no longer a heel.

Not sure that had to be in spoiler tags, but in case someone wanted to watch the show without finding out. There's also a pretty lol moment when Lyra botched the SS match with Becky (she actually did so in several spots) and they had no idea what was going on in the back.

I mean maybe I’m in the minority but I thought heel cena ****ing ruled

He was great at performing it but it was a horrible idea from the start and agreeing to it showed that Cena still isn't smart to the wrestling business.

Really? I can agree that the β€œmoment” was cool, but it quickly became apparent that the moment was all that it was. The whole thing lacked substance.

I don't disagree that he/it could have been great, but the booking doomed it to failure from the beginning. This should have been done a long time ago and the Rock and whatever his name's semi-unexplained involvement with it was a mess.

I thought his promo work with Cody was the best of his career. He straight up double turned him and cody for a month. And the ‘pipebomb’ moment with punk was incredible

The remainder, judge how you will

ESPN not allowing me to watch Elimination Chamber for some reason. I click on it and nothing happens. This has been an awful partnership so far. I couldn't be happier for both parties.

Even better, these dumb fucks are showing highlight spoilers right below the unclickable Elimination Chamber.

I saw the box reveal [emoji24][emoji1787]

I was trying to figure out why so many people were running with the same joke. They killed this kid. Better than Jericho I guess.

Box reveal was stupid and I hated it. No clue who that person was. Looks like a dweeb.

I never “got” Danhausen in AEW either. I’ve had multiple people try to explain him to me, but he’s not much more than face paint and a catchphrase.

He was a middling indie wrestler that was a knockoff Prince Devitt/Finn Balor. Never really got anywhere, but decided to swing for the fences with a super goofy comedy gimmick before calling it quits, thus Danhausen. Had a decent ROH run before the company folded (pre-TK purchase).

He’s very popular on the indies and merch tables, but it’s all very one note. He says “very nice, very evil” and carries a jar of teeth to the ring, dances to the Tequila song. Apparently wasn’t happy in AEW because he wanted to do more serious stuff. The problem is, he’s not that great of a wrestler and people only want to see the comedy bits. CM Punk likely hooked him up in WWE, as he took Punk’s side in all the Brawl Out/Jungleboy drama.

I think his ceiling in WWE is the same as AEW, niche comedy guy who moves a lot of merch, more comfortable at a convention table than in a wrestling ring. He may get a fun Punkhausen tag team run if Punk is up for it.

Why would Jake Cargill have to purchase a suite to watch the match?

The way they were emphasizing AJ's dominance over Becky made me think Becky was likely to retain. Guess AJs sticking around for a while or at least through mania.

Punk and Balor did the respect thing after their first match. And then Balor attacked him on Raw. Why would Punk shake his hand again?

Balor turn with Dom v Balor at mania for the IC?

There's been some kind of fuckery to end the men's chamber several years in a row. Not that I'm against most of it, but funny that Seth got his revenge on guys that weren't even in the faction when they injured. At least it screws Heyman.

The pattern of veteran star turns heal, forms faction, faction quickly turns on him is becoming a pattern for them. (See Edge...Judgement Day)

Are we getting a four-way at mania (Seth - Randy - Cody - Fatu)?

Would make sense for the Vision having attacked Jey Uso, but feels like we're getting a Sami heel turn, which I feel is too soon.

He is a babyface (I didn't see the show).

Ideally Dom drops the IC title to Penta, they have some crazy multi-man ladder match for the title, and Dom/Balor is just a 1:1 grudge match. Balor getting an IC title shot after losing every 1:1 and WWE title match beforehand is such stupid booking
