Wrestling OT/LC Thread: We'll Stop Talking About Star Wars Eventually
Since those of us in the wrestling thread have been posting together for long enough that we tend to get derailed from n
I’m still only two paragraphs into my Rebels write-up, but I binged Ahsoka hard last week.
I thought it was fantastic, but I’m not surprised at the poor reviews online. It’s a massive amount of fan service for a particular set of people that have watched all 11 seasons of TCW/Rebels. It’s a good thing I *am* one of those people, because I enjoyed the hell out of it. Even got teary eyed with some of the Anakin stuff.
Still trying to convince my gf to watch Andor with me, probably going to wrap up Mando season 3 in the meantime.
I can't imagine anyone using Ahsoka as an entry point into Star Wars TV and fans should have known it was Rebels Season V. Maybe they should have just called it that.
The massive hate for The Acolyte is insane. It was definitely a rocky start, but finished really strong. A fresh story annoyingly cut short by idiotic Star Wars “fans.”
Parts could have been done better or differently. But overall, the good outweighs the bad. This same sentiment could be said for literally all of Star Wars.
I was fine with it. Wanted to see more. Saw some issues with it, but it didn't kill the show for me.
Skeleton Crew is so much fun. It hits all the right notes.
Great news for Star Wars. Kathleen Kennedy is gone. Hoping Filoni (and/or Favreau) take over for her.
EDIT: Sounds like it is Filoni.
Watching Smashing Machine. Mark Kerr from that era kind of looked like Kurt Angle and the Rock had a baby, yet the Rock seems to have morphed more into Randy Orton for this movie.
Not terrible, although half the movie is him arguing with his girlfriend.
