Wrestling OT/LC Thread: We'll Stop Talking About Star Wars Eventually
Since those of us in the wrestling thread have been posting together for long enough that we tend to get derailed from nonstop wrestling talk, a containment thread for everything else seems appropriate. Seems a decent chance for some community overlap with our MMA and boxing friends too.
So...this thread is sort of like a reversal of what OOT was until a couple of weeks ago. The forum is wrestling, the containment thread is OOT. VICTORY!

I just finished THAT episode in S4 and I'm left wondering if King Aelle is the most decent character on the show.
I know he's cast and portrayed as a villain, but considering all the despicable things every other character has done, all he's really ever done is defend his own people.
Maybe he can be cited for cruel and unusual punishment, but after what was done to his people, can he really be blamed?
Lagertha is easily my favorite character, but she's done some shitty things too.
Athelstan is close, but committed adultery and went on raids.
But I can't really point to anything Aelle has done except hate the main character for good reason.

Yeah I saw that. If nothing else, I’m glad he’s determined to shoo away whatever redemption that the hamster-brained public was almost certainly ready to give him if he just stopped very publicly being a ****ing idiot for a year or two.
Might as well run a Curt Schilling/Aaron Rodgers ticket at this point

As much as I was correct to be anti-Rodgers, I won’t pretend that I knew the depths of his awfulness. Being a Sandy Hook conspiracy nut is a new low even for him.

I'm having a hard time rooting for the Jets after 40 years of fandom. I'm indifferent on Saleh. Think he got a little bit of a raw deal with shitty teams for the first couple of years, no QB last year and a diminishing one this year. Sure starting to sound like that diminishing 40 year old QB is running the team though. If RFK shows up as coach, I quit.
