PT4 converts the hands to its own unique format for compatibility, such hands unfortunately cannot be imported into H2N.
Only hands in their original xml format can be imported.
Ok, thanks

depressing on grinding B&M vs new minimum wage. although i guess you have alternative now
very broad question,
if you were the best cash game player in the world, how much could you expect make in 40 hour work week in LA or LV?.. i.e. availability of high $$$ games? AND softness of those games?
and assume you are willing to move around city AND don't include transit time in your 40 hour work week. also, say that you will, only do 4_hour minimum games
can you make $500k per year?... i guess there may
The best player in the world is clearing 500k very easily, it's not close.
The gap between Linus Love and some live pro is massive. Like 10-15bb/100 massive.
+1 more on the call turn train. The board is a badugi and only JT is credible as a semi bluff, with a price to 6 outs that is losing money for him. Then you can call a likely small river bet or decide how to navigate a bigger bet

I know you didn't read a word of the report and you are likely just pasting bits others have noted.
Nice try, but I read the key elements of the report this morning UK time before any of the news networks or social media had picked it up.
It's not a study it's a report, so you clearly either haven't read it or don't know the difference.
The studies performed have been too limited in scope to provide a reasonable base of evidence to support either side of the argument.
Perhaps, but only "one side of the argument" is advocating using experimental treatments and drugs on mentally ill children.

YanasaurBBQ and submersible put out good posts in this thread.
I disagree somewhat with submersible about preflop being meh from the T9hh Villain. I actually like the MP overcall preflop.
docvail isn't focusing on the right things. Villain played every street better than docvail did, and docvail is more interested in dissecting how badly than Villain played the hand on every street (Villain actually played every street better than docvail) instead of docvail trying sincerely to learn from his mist
How would you have played the hand differently?

Omaha isn’t the great game, it should be called the pain game. I’ve been playing on the Pokerrrr 2 app a lot more and was +840 last week so I had to pick up my cash. Got convinced to sitting in a 5/0 game, but it plays more like 5/10. About an hour in I’m up around 1k. 3rd to act and 2 limpers to me with AA95 A9 H. I make it 20 and get 6 callers. Flops A109 rainbow and I lead for $40. Guy on my left calls and turns a 10. We all know where this is going…… I check the turn he leads for $125, I make it $300 which he calls after asking how much I have behind. River 2 and I lead for $400 which he raises pot and after about a minute I fold. Yes, he had 10 10 of course. Probably 5 mins later I rack up at $700 and call it a night +$200. Why oh why Omaha? Why couldn’t I get a brick on the turn. Just why does he have to get quads in the biggest spot of the night against my aces full. Oh well, back to the grind.
Thanks for humiliating me once again on 2+2.
I think whitehouse.com was (is?) the famous legit example of this
Raise pre. I don’t think your sizing is terrible but you’re probably missing out on value. When someone raises a 2x overbet in a limped pot you should be very scared.
No misdeal as there's too much action. Play it out if he's already acted. Next hand he can pay for his blinds or wait for his big.
If v2 were a better player or just more aggressive, I'd be inclined to just put the money in on the flop. In this particular scenario flatting is better because it allows you effective last action on many turns with V2 padding the pot with his likely dominated draws.
Brick-brick turns, and many others besides, will check to V3 who will shove his remaining chips (as he should). V2 is very likely to call, and we won't need to fold much of anything getting around 8:1.
Also, if V1 is aware of how loose the other players are calling, him potting the flop with bottom set on one board and little on the other is a big mistake. Assume ALL villains are fish here.
if the guy is wide enough to have things like 63 pre and t6 ott, i think you're focusing too much on the combos that beat you while ignoring how wide his range is and how many combos we are ahead of. my guess is his vpip is (much) lower than 80 (this is really really almost impossibly wide at 9 handed - like playing every single hand if its unopened to him and playing a huge majority of the hands that are opened in front of him) and you're over estimating your knowledge of his game plan / freque
I get what youre saying. I hate my turn fold. I got too worried about him being passive and thinking he doesnt bet 1 pair hands here at all or bluff. And this read isn't necessarily correct for him as I dont have many hours of observation, only like 2 hrs worth. Its possible I'm right about it, but its too big of a deviation to make in this small sample size.
Everybody is square. Looking forward to running this back next year!
i think the hand is wp to be honest. am confused why its a thread. 3b pre seems reasonable to me and i suspect calling is (much) worse given open size / limpers / rake, flop i think you just want to let him spew especially with club redraw (can call off on almost / possibly any turn), turn were ecstatic to call.
@banana, it feels like you end up second guessing / overthinking a ton whenever you think the villain in these threads is good or plays higher. in almost all of them, results have mostly shown these guys to be making large mistakes. would imagine someone actually beating midstakes is not going to play 1/3 or brag about playing / beating higher at the table. thats usually what fish / insecure people do
People do stupid stuff at $1/2. Pretty villain dependent. Never folding against some V's. Never calling against others.
People will raise two pair, straights, sets for value. I've seen people raise TPGK. Others will bluff. Others won't notice the possible flush.
It also matters how big your flush is. Someone with JTs who makes a flush is probably raising, so you shouldn't fold K or Q-high flush assuming he's got the ace.
Folding flushes against non-OMC's isn't that important of skill for $1/2.
So normally when I’ve played, the dealer is watching whomever the action is on, and would say what the action was (unless it was obvious), and then turns to the next player. Was the dealer still just blankly staring at the lady as the other guy is screaming “THATS A CALL” or what?
Yes. The dealer was looking at the woman who had pushed her cards slightly forward and put 300 in chips to the left of the BTN (which hadn't been moved). I think he was trying to figure out what to do when the other player said that it was a call.
congrats to the winners
cokeboy, you sure do run a tidy pool

Last summer I was sharing a hotel room
@ Excalibur with Emma aka Peaches ; she was a poker dealer at MGM grand and still is.
On July 17 , which was the first day of their rakeback promo, she stole > $1,500 cash out of my bag in the room while I was at MGM playing .
She also got my credit card info and charged > 4k on it before I was able to put a stop to it.
IÂ’ve offered her many chances to just pay it back and we can all move on but she blocks me on everything and wonÂ’t talk to me face to face ; the last time I tried to talk to her in the poker room she ran away.
Before that , she tried to have me kicked out of the poker room for no reason and they said I was welcome there any time..
So since she won’t fix this “the easy way”, now we have to do “the hard way” and make it all public knowledge .
Thanks for your time &
AMA I guess

Price reduced to $2500 for both tickets.
Thanks guys for your thoughts.
The flop bet was probably not ideal but I was last to act and had gutshot plus backdoor-FD. Regarding the river: I feel like most villains would re-raise straights or sets on the turn making a flush even more likely on the river. So unless we believe villains is capable of turning medium made hands into bluffs an (exploitative?) fold seems reasonable.
The problem with betting this flop is you would have to fold a lot of equity if you get check-raised
Hello. Anyone want to take a piece of this fish? I’m playing the Venom this month. I’m not a great player- not a horrible player. Selling up to 50%.
I’m a very recreational player. Which is the best day 1 to play for this Venom tourney? I don’t play MTTs much- certainly not for this amount of money.
