I am surprised! If he is playing flight 1A and going for 1 specific flight! I am going specific flight as I am coming to Las Vegas on 29th evening.
But if he is that confidant it’s fine. Just explain to him that after Paying $60 if he didn’t made day 2 his only way to qualify is from Flight F on 30th.
If I were him will throw $15 more and keep all flights available to make day 2.

As you see, we are definitely doing The Last Longer challenge for WSOP event 1 "Mini Mystery Million "
If you have shown interest or you still wants to join, you have until 6PM Sunday May 24th to join, get approved to join and pay for it.

The goal is to win the tournament! But if you are part of Last Longer challenge, your goal is to make day 2 and last longer than any other fellow participant of our last longer challenge and win our Pool $$$.

It’s so surprising we have only 8 participants only!!
Here is the point: closest similar tournament to this year’ Mini Mystery Million was 2019 Big 50.
In order to make some $$ in that tournament I had to beat over 24000 players to get in to minimum $$ !!
In our Last Lobger you have a chance to just beat 8 or 10 players to get back little over your tournament buy in and if lucky go very deep !

IMHO that’s a great opportunity.

I continue to think that the structure of this tournament and last longer make it hard for anyone to collect. But River’s honesty in holding the funds for a few days is indisputable and his enthusiasm for our little side wager is compelling!

revAK I completely disagree with you!

Yes I understand the structure is kind of like turbo compered to some other tournaments.

But how does Las Longer affect someone’s play negatively?

In my last 20 years of playing poker experience, every time I play a tournament and involved with Last Longer I tend to play with little more care and goal as I want to at least play better than my friends. ( Yes and if luck gives me little push I want to play better than everyone else)

This is how it works for me at least.
