New to razz -questions and hand
I just started playing razz for the first time this week. What do you think of this hand? Any essential reading material for this game? I just read the chapter in Hellmuth's book. I'm enjoying some of the subtleties of this game.

I fired off 2 bullets, and it is going to be expensive and -EV to always continue on 6th and 7th, isn't it?
Here's the thing, IMO. In Razz, a lot of people will call to the river on a draw - if they don't hit it - then they fold the river to a bet from your great-looking board. My personal experience is they fold when they don't hit on the river or if they make a marginal hand.
Your other option, and it's a fine option, is to simply check-call all the way until you make a hand or decide to give up. That works well when drawing to a wheel, if you make it or a good 6 on the river they almost always bet to a check and you can raise them. But if you are going to bluff, you have to bluff all the way. Also, when you make your own hand on the river, you get more bets in.
BTW, I fold earlier and more than a lot of people. So everyone just develops their own way of playing through experience.
