Does anyone know what the avg. Stack is around in the 1/2 plo game? I'm pretty sure 1k is max buyin. Appreciate it

Real answer is I think max is $500 unless it has changed recently. Not unusual to see individual stacks of >$2k, but I would guess the average would be around that $500.
Depends on the table and time of day, etc. fwiw that $5k was mid afternoon on a Saturday.

games vary wildly from one table to the next. there are tables where most people have between 200-400 dollars and nobody raises preflop besides aces and there are games where half the table has over 2000 dollars with tons of raising and reraising pre.
Thanks for replies.
Are the Aria poker dealers allowed to play in the Aria poker games? (Bellagio allowed this when I was in Vegas 15 years ago.)
Does Aria fill games with prop players?
I’m fairly sure the answer is yes. Bellagio still allow dealers to play. It isn’t really the same as propping though…if they are playing on the clock they are just getting whatever their hourly rate is without tip. If they are playing off clock, they are just like any other player.

No Vegas poker room has prop players. And Aria is busy enough they don’t have problems filling up the room.
Does Aria have safe deposit boxes available if I'm playing in the 5/5 w/Rock game a lot? What about a player's bank?

i have one too, but i have it for years, and a played a ton there.
they still have a few available, but mostly try to reserve them (for bigger players etc.), so you need to be good with the poker room manager (he decides this), and also have played lots of hours there to even have a chance.
other option is deposit on your players card, but that takes longer and is a bit less comfortable then having a box, so box is for sure the way to go (if you get one).
tip:
if you havent done so already:
create some situations where you tip the floor guys (for a table change for example), like 5$ is standard, but you could go and tip them 10$ and say "thats a great game you got me into", or something like that, so they remember you well ... they all talk to each other about that stuff, so you have better credibility overall

This is super helpful. Thank you!
Last time I was in Aria I saw people playing online on their tablets while sitting live. Is this still a thing?
I see it all the time at many places around the country I have played at. I see the largest Apple Ipad where people play as well as watching movies.
This really needs to be banned. It's so bad for the game. Thankfully my casino doesn't allow you to interact with an electronic device while you have a live hand.
If I see someone playing online/app poker or watching a movie at a live table, I'll sometimes make fun of or bully them. (I do the same thing to the one nit at the table who refuses to straddle when everyone else wants to put on a mandatory straddle.)

There’s a 2/5 reg who basically lives there that is always on his iPad with headphones.
well, the situation will definitely auto-correct big time, since a lot of people were playing on Pokerbros there on the app, and bros just banned nevada (and it's not that easy to circumvent with VPN for example, bc they also have the geolocation tag)
i actually don't mind it that much (do it myself when the game is boring/nitty/bad from time to time), as long as people don't hold up the game (i never do that, always pay attention, know when its my turn). i hate it when you always have to remind someone to act bc he doesnt pay attention, and then sometimes people are so obnoxious that they finish their hand or move first (on the phone), before they take care of their action at the table, that imo should be a round penalty or something, it's just super bad for the game and more than bad etiquette (in the time rake games, the 5-5/10 for example, this actually costs everybody money)

Bullying anyone for any reason at poker table is unacceptable. Doing it because someone chooses to play the game advertised and agreed to is horribad. That is worse than playing online at a live table.

You sound like the kind of pussy who would immediately piss himself if someone stood up to you.

Just because it's within the rules doesn't always mean it's acceptable. There are 1-2, 1-3, and 2-5 tables where nits can buy in for the minimum, be on their tablets and not be social, and not straddle with the other seven players at the table.
If you choose to be that guy in a bigger game, I might make fun of you a little bit. But the big whales—the ones you want to keep happy and get action from—will bully you for sure.
If it's within the rules, and not some sort of angle, then yes, it is ALWAYS acceptable. If the player is in a specific game, say 5, 10 NLH, and now you and some others want to change the game to 5, 10 with a 20 straddle, the player who doesn't want to do this is not a bad guy for saying no. But you are certainly a dick for bullying them about their decision. If you and the other players want a 5, 10, 20 game, go to the floor, start a list, and start THAT game, rather than changing this game. And if the one player is the only one objecting, the rest of you can stand up, quit the current game, and ask the floor to call the list for the new game. But if you are going to bully somebody who is not cheating or angle-shooting, then YATA.
