NCAA Football 2023 Season Megathread
Figured I would get this thing started since a mod still hasn’t changed the title of the 2022 thread. Let’s just start o
Michigan winning ugly. Will continue.
I wonder what other bowl teams in the modern era ended their season getting shutout their last two games (Iowa).
Not sure if Bama runs much 21 but I expect something like that or even 12 with a swing TE. More zone lead scheme. Big thing is Michigan is finding a ton of success with their blitz game. Milroe is not identifying the Mike well from what I can see and it's leading to protection problems. Not recognizing where the pressure is coming. RB's options are off as well. I wouldn't want to switch much for Michigan. Stick in cover 1 and Cover 3 defensively. Continue to let your big men dominate 4 v 5.
I expect Michigan to try and push the issue towards the Bama corners some more. There's success to be found there, either run game at them with wide zone or toss. But the CBs are a weakness at the moment. Love the idea of getting Corum outside more to attack that weakness. Bama is going to have to sit in more 2 high to try and stop the pass game but maybe with an extra LB on the field.
Why does Alabama continue to run out kickoffs and cost themselves 10 yards?
Well we are getting a heavy dose of 21 right off the bat. That was easy.
Nice drive ending with lol Bama
Lol
snapping is hard
Center throwing game?? Did that happen much against Texas??
so Bama has attempted like 17 pass plays and have negative yardage including sacks
FSU didn't get to play bc the committee thought their passing game wasn't good enough
Haven't seen a team stop themselves that efficiently since well any Iowa game.
How much money do you think the mob paid #56 to rig the game???
We had a total cable outage the night of the Texas/Bama game. So bogus. One of the biggest regular season games.
catch
Damn what a catch
I think ESPN is the bag man sice Herb's all "I don't think that's all the center's fault..."
Like he bounced the damn ball past him then tossed a weird knuckleball fs.
Guessing Kirk's eyes were either on DL/OL or secondary and his spotter was in his ear. No way he saw it and said that. Not defending Kirk but that felt like a spotter miss to me.
Corum oddly only had 1000 yards this year and only 2 100-yard games. Seems weird.

The real suspicious part is that they are moving the ball easily and were driving for what looked like a score. Then all of a sudden the center forgets how to snap the ball and they move out of any scoring range. I would seriously investigate that player.
Michigan 2100 rushing yards in 13 games.
11 personnel and they can't run the ball. Ughhh
