Value check?
The BB just sat down. I have zero reads.
I open in the CO and only the BB calls.

Do you value check any of these?
99's
KJ
JT
K7

I’d certainly bet the first three for pure value/equity protection. K7 check seems good
4 card flop?
I was also wondering what happened on the flop? Did you bet or checked around and then bb checks again on the turn?
I think K7 and 99 are both good value check candidates assuming you bet flop. (I also think K7 and JT are decent flop check candidates.).
This post gives preflop action and then asks what to do when there are 4 cards on the board.
Either the flop is wrong or there was a street of action skipped.
If that is supposed to be the board on the turn, it's important what the flop action was and which of the cards came on the turn.
I think its a pretty safe assumption that flop went check / bet / call. Robot friend thinks this flop is a range bet fwiw
Yeah my answer was based on check/call flop
It went check, bet, call on the flop. Sorry for leaving that out.
K7 seems like a reasonable check. it's a hand that may have outs when behind and would hate to face a turn raise.
JT seems close to me given the BB is unknown. I'd be calling down a raise on certain run outs but it would be gross.
KJ is too much value to check.
99's seem like a bet as well to get value from an 8 or 7. Are we bet/calling the turn with this and folding the river UIP?

Some food for thought - my iron friend bets this turn 85% of the time. Indeed, 99 checks back about 25% of the time and K7s (not hearts, hearts always bets) 100% of the time. KJ and JT are 100% bets. So in GTO land it's correct to have ~ 15% check backs on this turn, but how bad is it to always just bet?
Our turn EV overall is about $97 in a 20/40 structure with GTO play. If we rerun the sim with a 100% forced bet on the turn our EV only drops to $96. In other words, having a perfect check back range here is worth $1 in GTO EV.

J Lot - good points, to play devils advocate I might say many BB's have no 3 bet range here pre, they also might not find the 30% flop check raises, nor the peels with some gutshots, king highs, etc.
Yep, makes sense. Those players must be sacrificing EV to us by not making those correct GTO plays, though there is more money to be made in exploitation.
