2022-2023 Saw Manchester City’s Death Star become fully operational winning the Premier League with 89 points by e
think we need cashley involved
baines terry and bale out
cashley sol (spuds) and ?? in
Southampton VVD might be a shout.
More fun to do a worst premier league of all time XI from different teams
ive gone for bad but also wacky where possible
peter enkleman (villa, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=18QsjFUq...)
titus bramble (worst wigan player of the PL era)
igor stephanovs (arse, https://twitter.com/talkSPORT/status/143...)
ben thatcher (wimbledon, violent)
marc edworthy (random dude that apprently wasnt good enough to consistently start for derby's '08 side)
tom cleverley (man utd, the cleverley effect)
charlie adam (liverpool, violent, fat)
adam johnson (man city, rape)
peter odemwingie (west brom, transfer expert)
mido (boro, literally too fat to take to the field of play)
ali dia (c) (southampton, the gold standard)
Alternate team idea:
GK van der Sar - Fulham
RB Trippier - Newcastle
CB McGrath - Aston Villa
CB Ferdinand - Man Utd
LB Cole - Chelsea
DM Kante - Leicester
CM Modric - Tottenham
CM De Bruyne - Man City
RW Salah - Liverpool
ST Shearer - Blackburn
LW Henry - Arsenal
Gets Ashley Cole in who is a better defender. Swapped Gerrard and Bale for Modric and Salah, although either combo is good imo.
I made a worst Spurs XI of my lifetime in about 2010
Baardsen
Dean Austin, Ramon Vega, Jason Cundy, David Kerslake
Timothee Atouba, Jason Dozzell, Nicola Berti, Andy Sinton
Gregors Rasiak, Ronnie Rosenthal
Who the **** decided Palace v Everton would be a good FA cup 3rd round game to put on TV
lol @ that Calvert-Lewin red card
18 year old Bale just bought from Southampton was not close to the one who became a winger. Aka, that Bale was not one of the best to play in the Prem while the one he became was
He started the season he tortured Maicon at the San Siro at left back, so imo that's the version you get which is arguably the best LB in the PL era.
That version of Bale was not as good as Wayne Bridge for us, and was also not nearly as good as the likes of Ashley Cole.
Yeah, but no one is picking Cole or Bridge at LB considering the other options from Arsenal and Chelsea respectively.
Whereas at Spurs the realistic options are Bale, Kane (who misses out in most list as (Shearer/Blackburn is a no-brainer) and possibly Modric/Walker.

The fuzz, probably. All of Palace, Brentford, Fulham, Spurs, Wimbledon, Millwall, Watford, Gillingham, Chelsea, West Ham, Luton and Arsenal were drawn at home, probably extremely hard to police all of them at a weekend (I know that at least a couple of these are outside the area the Met will cover, but it would at least block overtime scams by pulling in dibbles from neighbouring places). If they've got to move it to a Thursday for those reasons, they may as well televise it

You could have Bridge at Southampton! He was far better for us than he was before he got his big move.
See we've reverted to "sign players who played well against us for one game as short termism to further block the development of our youngsters" quicker than expected
Jadon Sancho on the verge of going back to Dortmund with a loan until the end of the season. 10 goals / 15 assists incoming.

He played 29 PL games that season (7 goals 1 assist), lol @ suggesting that's the best LB season in PL era
I've never seen a lost game milked as much as the Milan game but if we're going by 1-game peak then I'm picking Yakubu for Blackburn (scoring 4)
Tbf, he only needs to be the best LB for a team that doesn't have an all time great at a better position.
Dier to Bayern wtf
Yes that's another good one

Think we're long overdue another draft of some kind, maybe look to the next international break to get things started?
