Is Sean Perry Legit or the next Mikki
Just seeing his twitter feed he seems like a less articulate but more polished form of Mikki? When people flash the cash I usually assume something is amiss. Please correct this assumption in this case.

You now have me looking for the Roland De Wolfe exchange about raising a river hobgoblin or whatever it was.
It feels like we're a cool decade removed from the first studies showing how social media increases teenagers' levels of anxiety and depression because their feeds set unrealistic expectations for themselves. And I remember thinking, "Really? These must be the sons and daughters of the idiots who bought lousy beer simply because 1980 TV ads showed beach parties and bikinis."
Evidently, those sons and daughters are now in their 20s, some of them are now in the poker sphere, and a few are still falling into the trap of seeing some dude on their phone showing off a stack of cranberries and somehow fretting over it.

I'm not even sure Perry is a scam artist/criminal/liar (and neither does the OP, based on the thread title). For all I know, he's a legit successful gambler. A cursory glance at that Twitter account just shows me a guy who likes to flex a lot, whether the gains are ill-gotten or otherwise. To me, the weird part is that anyone would even care beyond the fact that it's just sort of douchetastic. That someone might get scammed by it is odder still.
Starting to see how the hell Lil Tay ever became a thing.
I hate Ralph! He hit a 5 outer on the river against me that cost me a WSOP bracelet and over 140K in a PLO event in the mid 2000's. And yes, that is a not so humble brag lol, and yes, he was the real deal and pretty good guy the few times I spoke with him back then.
Sean seems like a tool.
With someone like Sean Perry or comparisons to figures like Mikki Mase, itβs important not to jump straight to conclusions just based on social media. Flashy posts and cash displays are often part of branding, marketing, or simply highlighting big wins, but they donβt really prove or disprove legitimacy on their own. In gambling and poker circles especially, variance is huge and people can look βon a heaterβ or heavily successful without that reflecting their long-term results. At the same time, skepticism is healthy because the space does attract exaggeration. The fair view is that you canβt confirm much from Twitter aloneβreal evaluation would require verified results, tracked performance, and context over time, not just curated highlights.
He been posting these massive wins in the sportsbook. Why wouldn't the books just limit his action? or do they typically not back off people firing on parlays?
Most books/bookies will continue to let slow adults fire as much as they want on anything they want.
Mainly because they can lay off big bets with other bookies.

Its because he is losing a lot of bets. All online sports books throttle bets. There is literally a technique where "pro" gamblers purposely lose a ton of money so when they go on a run they don't get throttled. They will never let people bet who they think has an edge. No gambling company of any kind does this. They either remove the bet type that is most profitable per sport or just limit the sharks, or both.
Pro sports gamblers still use bookies or off-shore sites for this reason.
Well don't most influencers exaggerate themselves, their wealth and their lifestyle? Don't most Linkedin profiles exaggerate claims? (FFS, all these superstar employees are still employees rather than doing something new, lol.) Perry is doing what most people with social media do: present the best parts and/or outright misrepresent things to curate an image. In that respect, Perry might be the person the world needs.
Or he might just some mendacious weirdo with a massive inferiority complex.
Who knows.
Are there any pictures of him with private jets? Those people are always cool.
Thereβs an old adage that those who can, do, those who canβt, teach.
This is true for almost every guru/influencer and double true for everyone in the history of selling sports picks.
Well his father "Ralph" is/was a high stakes player who frequented the Big Game at Bellagio. Btw, neither Ralph nor Perry is his real name. He's a fuckin douche bag who adopted an American sounding name from Luke Perry who played Dylan in Beverly Hills 90210. But I digress.
I came here to say that what irks me about this kid, is he talks about his father like he's some great guy. When in fact, when I was just a young lad dealing to him at Bellagio, he treated me like shit for no other reason than the fact that he would run bad when I would deal to him.
